The onClick and onKey does not work.

When I tested this project on android 2.2 API, I got following warning " WARNING: Application does not specify an API level requirement! Device API version is 8 (Android 2.2) "
What does it mean?

Are there any kinds of books or other tutorials that would help one learn how to do some of this programming?
I've done a little C++ and JAVA in college, but nothing major. I've also done PHP/mySQL 'programming' as well.
