I hate boxing, love martial arts anime, with sword fights and guns that's all good. But this anime makes boxing look interesting, it's funny and the story is interesting and most of all it's something that even though I hate boxing I can watch it over and over in order to watch boxing, lol. Never thought I would watch a boxing movie nor a boxing anime until I saw this. Plus I don't know how these guys survive Ippo's Dempsey Roll, that shit is nuts.

Best chapter in the series, IMO. He comes back after his 1st defeat, with all the anxiety and pressure, and when it looks like a very complicated match, Ippo wins pulling out of the hat the Dempsey Roll. Simply magnificent, and the crowd reaction is touching.
