He is GORGEOUS!! I, like you, rescued 2 from the slaughter for the price of one. They are truly majestic aren't they? My mare was in foal when we rescued her and we didn't know it. She is a Grade Percheron (Pure Percheron-No papers). Dewey the foal is just so smart, bright and willing. He loves to run and jump on his own. May God bless you for giving him a chance to be a happy horse. Check Jewel and Dewey's videos. I have posted 4 so far. Enjoy!!
Thanks! I'll check out your videos! How wonderful to have 2! I just moved Eli to a big barn with a nice ring and an indoor. I'm 50 and there a re several other adult riders there so we can ride together. Eli is still pretty green, (he's 5) but I'll be able to ride more often now. The old place was great but I was alone a lot and I don't think it is smart to ride alone, especially on a green horse. Thanks for looking! Julie
Thanks! I've only ridden him a few times - I'm not a trainer and he was completely green. He is extremely comfortable and covers a lot of ground. I look forward to following your BLOG. I'm 50 and hoping I'll be able to ride into my 70s! Good luck!
