I recognize that music... it was used by Isao Tomita in a track called "solaris" (off the album "Kosmos") and it probably comes from a classical piece. I'll do some research and try to pinpoint it.

@UberWagen I was pleased with my first encounter with the new one because it didn't make me sleepy. I was like, "There are screens in the cars!!!" I could understand the new narration and I like the music, but now the music from the Jeremy Irons Version is lost forever. Prspeppers had it, but he closed his youtube account. i used to love going on spaceship earth when jeremy iorns used to narrorate it but now i can't stand it they have ruined it. i used to love the muisc score but now the music score is crap..

I miss this old version so much. It was basically the last piece of the old, better epcot left, and they ruined it. They made the ride a joke. Touch screens? Nice way to cut us off from human communication. Jeremy Irons>Judy Dench ANYDAY.

I couldn't agree with you all more. I miss the old Spaceship Earth more than words can say. It was my absolute favorite ride in Epcot until they changed it...and this music was part of why I loved it so much!

@hinatasan88 I have to agree with you and all the other comments about this change. I have been bringing my family to WDW for the last 12 years and almost every change at EPCOT has been worse. Spaceship Earth didnt need updating, it was classy and it had a message. Please Siemens, put it back to how it was. The ride down is now boring and very dry

It is said the end of the ride as of now is not done yet and it dosn't sound like a rumor they need the money to fix it. And I do miss the old music to I was hoping they would throw in the horizons music.

@vintageepcot I wish Disney would stop completely removing the past from us. Kids today don't need to have all new things that take away precious memories from older kids and adults! Horizons was senselessly torn down to be replaced by a space ride, AS IF DISNEY DOESN'T ALREADY HAVE ENOUGH OF THOSE!!! Space Mountain's refurb by this time has been a major improvement, though, especially with the new music. Many things at Disney are like cheese. The older it is, the more flavor there is.
