  • siguro pag nasayo na lahat ng ginto di mona kailangan mag nakaw..di nakapagtataka kung bakit ang daming gusto sumakop satin.

  • thanks for uploading! very inspiring

our heritage and beauty is much more than value of these gold found.

i feel more courage and hope that we will be able to free ourselves

from this mental slavery that we are not

    talented, unique and beautiful

    mabuhay tayong Maharlika!

  • years ago i saw ancient gold artifacts and jewelries with intricate designs and enormous sizes by today's standard in bangko sentral ng pilipinas (roxas blvd.) musem. the color and sheen did not tarnish; bright and shiny. very beautiful compared to today's gold jewelry that you can now find in the local market.

  • Amazing, I would love to see this the next time I am in the Philippines, anyone know what part of the country this is displayed at?

  • @Kbismark99 some are in ayala museum...i think..google?

  • Nice ancestral gold..

and the japs buried alot more when they stashed their loot in the phils during the ww2.. hahaha

  • This video is about Visayan artefacts I hope that there will be a documentary about artefacts of Tondo Kingdom or about the Tondo Kingdom..

  • @miomiomio00 visayan especially da cebuanos were part of sri vhijayan empire and cebu were da center of governance before... in talking about tondo they were also families with da visayan people

  • @09092214584

Yes, Visayas was a part of Majapahit and Sri Vijaya....and the City of Manila then called Selurong was also a part of Majapahit...The Center of Sri Vijaya was in Java....

  • @miomiomio00 yeah it is in indonesia we find da center of the empire but cebu was also a preserve land of royalties....

  • @miomiomio00 tondo kingdom were weak...but visayas kingdom were strong,,,thats why spanish colonizers move to manila as ther new capital city....

  • @09092214584

The reason why the Tondo is weak is because it just had been recovering from a war with Brunei because Brunei seized Selurong from Tondo successfully..

  • @miomiomio00 ya right...plus with da pirates invaders makes them more casualties in da war.....and also none foreign people nor asian never think to invade visayas region due they have a high respect to the visayas kingdom and its datus and kings... inshort they do have a good relationship

  • @09092214584

But isn't Visayas a part of Sri Vijaya and Majapahit...

  • @miomiomio00 visayas and sri vhiaya and mahapahit are one bfore...

  • @miomiomio00 Sri Vijaya and Majapahit belong to different eras or epochs in SEA history. I think the former came first.

  • i dare any on to define an austronesain, these apellation put on black people aruond the word arew simplly tactics use to confuse an unthinking person, and some one whom dooes not understand migration and back wash of the black man outt of africa . granted there are slight difference in the cultural habits of the blacks of the pacific and asia, BUT that is to be expected given their unit progress of isolation . but no more than the white of euorpe. SPAIN , FRANCE GERMAN, all whites.

  • ACCORDING TO HISTORIANS and stil workin presently to discover more about our real identity of our ancestrol we came from that PHILIPPINES OR MAHARLIKA IS A GREAT EMPIRE AND A RICH NATION BECAUSE WE HAVE ALL DA NATURAL RESOURCES LIKE GOLDS MINERALS AND NATURE AND SEAS.

  • sorry for my typos, im typing hella fast LOL

    \\

    V

  • we just got to look deeper and we will find ourself. stuff like this will definitely unite us

  • go study your history before the spainish came . and stop deniing the black origins. niggritos , moors , both words mean black my friend , and by the way there are a lot of ugly white, brown and yellow people . you have been brain washed by your spainish conquers. whom do you think created those gold tresures the spanish?

  • not spanish make those golds. spanish visit here only to escape from somthng like war in ther origin land. and da time they saw da beautiness and uniqueness of the island philippines they became bad and thought somethng being greedy hunger of somethng like thee saw da gold

  • no the Spanish did not go the Philippines looking to escape from war. They where looking for India get spices. On the Moros got their name because they resembled the Moors from southern Spain who dark skin and also Muslim.

  • you might want to look at Austronesian race.

  • @7troding Those gold treasures were created by native Filipinos...who are the exact same as the (majority of) Filipinos you see today. Not Spanish....and not black either.

  • Go Phillipines!

  • i do not blame the philippine people , they are a noble people , but they enbrace there spanish inheritance, but forget their noble black origins , yes black . all asian civalizations were black in origins. the conquer will not propogate these truths , because it is not in their interest. but do not allow him to dictate your origins , , that is like selling your soul, it is what you are. stop putting white faces on ancient great civilazations , they were black and proud ,so be it.

  • BLACK? Suck my DICK... Who told you we are BLACK? We have BROWN SKIN stupid asshole...

Why you forcing us to be BLACK? we are not ugly!

We are beautifull people we are not UGLY NIGGERS!

  • emsing2001 why are do you hate Black people when you have some Filipinos trying to act black?

also why are you being racist to other people like its ok as long its not towards Filipinos? such a hypocrite.

  • dont generalized Filipinos, Filipinos from the south was never conquered by Spain. They where Muslims before the Spanish and is still Muslim today.

  • have you heard about da KNIGHTS TEMPLAR OF SPAIN?ORGANIZE BY KING PHILIPP I AND REVIVE BY KING PHILIPP II

  • your right filipinos are nobles thats why philippines in old times called MAHARLIKA OR MAHARLOKA or da great land or land of gold... why you know about this?

  • now this is one video every Filipino must see.

    Awesome!

  • Can anybody tell me why tehre are hardly any documentaries here on Youtube concearning the Philippines. May it be of historical or contemporary content. I only found one entitled "Mit offenen Karten Philippinen" which I subbed in english and this one.

Isn't anybody interested in our countries history, economy and struggles?

  • Gingtongrajah, thanks for the video. I've been searching for documentaries about Philippine gold because online informations and books do not contain the valuable informations presented in this documentaries. I agree with the tattoos, hindi Baybayin. It goes to say that mayaman ang kultura nating mga Pilipino.

  • oo nga..now i can be more proud of being Filipino in a good way

  • google: Blair and Robertson Philippine Islands

an english translation of spanish documents taken over when US took over PI.

    and enjoy reading/discovery!

  • Look at that white guy...he's more interested in pre-colonial filipino culture then some fil-ams i know...drop the hula bit you do to make people believe ur a pacific islander and embrace your culture damnit

  • Thank you gintongrajah for the posting! Seen all 3 parts. Very interesting. It is clear now that Philippines are part of Southeast Asia, major player too, since long time. Hope that the national history will soon be rewritten.

But, where's the part mentioning relationship with Srivijaya?

  • you can watch the whole documentary done by Che-che Lazaro... just type "Gintong Pamana".

  • yes i know about the whole documentary, i just wanted to focus on this part, plus the other vids dont have subtitles, so i took the effort of doing that.

  • @evarrafael: thx :) too bad I dont understand Filipino :(

  • please let me know what Filipino words you dont understand i will interpret it for you!...

  • There isnt a part that states the Srivijaya directly, but these gold artifacts date around the Srivijaya period.

  • heh its cool that u take an interest in our culture...r u indonesian or malaysian???

  • Im actually a filipino.

  • i can sub the video for you if you tell me what video you want me to sub..but i can't assure you that my subbing will make you understand it more cu'z i'm kinda struggling in english too..well it's your choice just let me know ^_^

  • @rapemap Why are you so confused where is Philippines part of? Philippines is clearly part of South East Asia. Just get a map and look where it is. Sri Vijaya was an empire stretching from South India to the west up to Eastern Indonesia and part of the Philippines.
