I agree, I think the reunite in death...But I prefer de prequels.I think its because Anakin is Hayden Christensen, and the special effects are better.I liked the most the Revenge of the Sith...Besides, Anakin and Padme's story is much more romantic than the others. And I hate Princess Leia, she is so not pretty. Luke is better, but I dont know sometimes I think he is gay. And I can't imagine Anakin being so good looking in that Darth Vader costume.I hate that, even though it has to be that way.

Star Wars is about Anakin, and how he lives. He starts off as a 10 year old boy, being a slave on Tatooine. He meets a beautiful angel, who is Padme, they get close, very close. And when they are truely together, everything is taken away from them both, their lives are torn apart by one man, corrupting another. Then Anakin spends the next 2 decades, being corrupt, evil in the galaxy. Then finds out that he has a son and daughter, a piece of Padme. He becomes good and dies, for love of his kids.

I think, the tragedy of the hole story is because of Padme. When Anakin saves Luke and becomes good again at the end of part six, it is kind of a happy ending, but I always have to think of Padme, that she died with a broken heart, that Luke never knew anything about his mother and that Ani and Padme couldnt see each other again in the end. But I always imagine that they are reunited in death.
