sure can mate. I had an XG panel van about a year ago, tooks my 15inch JBL subs out and hoocked them up to my home theatre system, and they went great.

About a month ago i got a Holden VX commodore and installed them in there, got two 1300watt amps. Each sub has 1300watts going through it. They are really nice. Pisses off my neighbours soooo much. haha

There's 5 different year models of the L7s (2000 to 2008, every 2 years) and yes the L5 is the "budget" version of the L7 lol, the only differences are the price and power handling.

There are 4 different models of the L5s ranging from 2002 to 2008 (every 2 years)
