  • 2:38 Karina saves the day. <3

  • I love the interplay of the two vocalists, it really makes the band unique

  • 00.09 - 00.12 the kick was a little to high for a skirt.

  • @Jorgejackass13 I think it was just high enough. ;P

  • Check out our band PapaFish out of southern california if you dig reggae/ska rock . Let us know what you think ; )

  • If memory serves, Mark and Scott (the original drummer) from Blink were two of the aliens. I was the one behind the drum kit. (There's a quick shot of the aliens playing our gear.) This video was a lot of fun to make!

  • @gavinhammon

Yeah! Looks like it was a blast to make. DHC was (hopefully is) such a fun band. You can't help but feeling good when the Crashers are on. Great band! A reunion would be killer. THX

  • Elyse and her funny faces, she's so cute!

  • I'm usually a Karina guy... but Elise is hotter then 2 sheep stuffed in a wool sock in this one. :P

  • They're suck a good band(:

  • elyse is the one with her hair up and singing higher parts Karina has straighter hair and sings lower. also elyse is a bit skinnier and makes funny faces more :) hope that helps

  • @stjimmy83 Wrong. Elyse is the one with the polkadot shirt on and the bangs, Karina is the one with her hair up that sings the higher parts. Watch their live shows, it really buts thing in perspective.

  • wow they are pretty damn good looking!

  • they change so often its tough to keep up ;_;

  • 0:23 = Elyse

  • I was one of those guys who would go see DHC just because I knew the guy to gal ratio would be in my favor :)

  • @Drewshouldntsk8

lol good music and lots of ladies! couldnt go wrong!

  • Which one is Elyse????

  • Has DHC got a song where they are dressed up in 40's style clothes, singing a real boppy swing style song and have jitterbugging type dancing. It's kind of hip hoppy. I know they are a ska band but could digress from that style, just like they did in Keep on Running.

  • i took pictures with Karina in one of those photo booth things after their show at the OC Fair some years back.

  • lol

  • mark hoppus from blink182 is the one dressed up as an alien!!

  • haha omg is it really?? how do you know?

  • Tim Armstrong And Matt Freeman were in Operation Ivy DumbAss Tim Wrote Every Song For Da

  • they were in DHC foe a while too dumbass

  • It's kind of hard to believe Tim Armstrong and Matt Freeman used to be in this band.

  • They started DHC in the mid eighties with Erik Larsen before they ditched it and started Downfall. Elyse and Karina didn't come in on vocals until about '89 and by then Tim and Matt where long gone.

  • Yeah I knew that. It's just hard to believe this is what's become of them. By the way, I like all of DHC's stuff.

  • yeah me too. I wish they where still together now.. From what I hear they only play like one show a year.. They had some great stuff

  • this is a sweet band

  • wow, i haven't heard this song in years...first time i've seen the video though. now i gotta go find some lady luck

  • i remember when they used to open with this song at concerts in the early nineties. the whole place would erupt.

  • DHC! 5*

  • "destiny can be a Jamaican"

    lol

  • "destiny can be what you make it"

  • That one girl always sings from that one angle in all of her videos and it's really starting to piss me off.

  • angular people piss me off too. She invented the Myspace angle!

  • ... Holy shit..... you're right. I never realized that before

  • They start at the same time... in the ska revival period...and This is SKA PUNK...not only ska and not only punk

  • i dont really like ska punk (its more or less just syncopated pop punk, and i dont like nasal voices) but i like dhc, im not saying theyre real ska but that doesnt disqualify them from being good

  • esta es la mierda mas horrible y homosexual que aya escuchado u.u

  • De verdad que si!

  • pensandolo bien si es cierto

  • this song is catchy as fuck

  • PUNX NOTDEAD! It just sux right now.

  • Punk doesn't suck, it just had it's definition broadened too much, mixed with too much garbage. Though they may share roots, emo is not punk; humans are not chimps though we (arguably) share the same roots. Besides, punk is as much in the mentality as it is in the music. Pointless radio gaga is, by that definition, not punk even if it fits the mold musically. I am not elite, I'm just a purist.

  • all we hear is radio gaga

  • its SKA not PUNK.....

  • he's right kids, it's the horrible truth. the last good punk rock album was on vinyl.

  • They are like the MASTERS No Doubt at their begining, not as genius as Gwen but they are quite good..

  • This band is by far better than what No Doubt was and what No Doubt has became. This band was even started before No Doubt and one of the founding members is none other than Tim Armstrong of Rancid/Operation Ivy/Transplants. He just didn't stay long enough for the first recording. Punk and ska has always made a great blend in music style.

  • I don't think so... I saw a lots of vid of DHC on stage they are alittle bit ridicuilous even if the have great voices and realy good songs...But NO DOUBT... I CAN'T FIND THE WORDS...incridible,awsome!!

Well Tim Armstrong was in this band first, and after he became a super star with Rancid...He tooks the best decision... No ?

  • no doubt started b4 dhc

  • Great song by an incredible band. Video's kind of lame especially since it has NOTHING to do with the song (actually, almost none of their videos match their songs, lol), but who seriously cares? DHC were about having fun and that's what their music is, fun. And addictive!

  • whats up with DHC???

  • who's up for actually commenting on the damn video instead of something totally off topic?

  • this band has had 16 people in it all together o.0

  • 한국에도 왔으면 좋겠다우

  • vogllied stop whingeing and enjoy dude, anyhow blink were a punk rock band not a punk band,as far as i have seen, punk bands dont surf or really actually seem to have much fun, id choose a nice house by the beach over a drafty squatter hole any day

  • ooooooooooooooooooooooooooo persuasive argument!

  • That alien is MARK HOPPUS

    xD

    in case if you know.

    atte: GABO

  • 日本へ来てLIVEしてくんないかなぁ。ニューアルバムはいつリリースしてくれるんだい?(〃▽〃)DHC待っとるよ!

  • what he said :)

  • did they ever do any videos when tim from rancid was in the group?

  • What an awesome song. Seriously.

  • As a side note... the alien in this is played by Mark Hoppus (Blink-182/+44). I saw a "making of" of this video a while back and they showed him in the suit.

  • yeah i rememebr that there good friends with mark

  • as a side note blink 182 hasn't been cool since they went all emo =(

  • As a side note in response to that side note... Blink182 isn't even together anymore.

  • As a side note, blink-182 used to rock until they broke up. i love mark hoppus! <3 lolz XP

  • Blink use to open for DHC back in the day before they were 182

  • As a side note, to a side note blah blah blah, BLINK 182 NEVER sounded good, a bunch of west coast sell out crybabies. Travis barker is shilling whatever comes his way and makes everyone he is around seem like a pop princess poser, which is sad as some of the company he keeps.....I don't care about commerical success, great you made it, but when you sell out to MTV and matercard, and whatever mobile company, your a whore, and not a punk. On the other hand DHC are simply brilliant.

  • Whats wrong with being west coast?

  • Nothing is wrong with West Coast, just generally indicative of a certain sound and mindset. Had they been East coast or Mid west I would have called them as such. o matter where they hail from, what a bunch of titty babies, total tools and ankle biters the lot of 'em. Still diggin DHC, just wish blink 182 would spontaneous combust so they wouldn't come up in such conversations. Then all their fans could latch onto Avril Lavigne where they properly belong. Hot Topic punk, sold never earned.

  • yeah, but what also came out of the west coast? bad religion, descendents, nomeansno, the circle jerks--many of the greatest punk bands out there came from the west coast.

  • dude fags like you are why i bailed on the whole punk scene. so what, blink made money off their music? and now they dont have to work ever again... WHERES THE PROBLEM? punks been dead, it doesnt need to be elite anymore. go back to the east coast, find some weed and chill the fuck out

  • that was to vogellied by the way but youtube posted it here

  • And that my frieeends... is a poserrrrrr

=)... man just "let it be" and shut the fuck up, cheers

  • wait, are you saying im a poser?

  • heej vogel lied doe niet stoer en hou je bek is een tijdje dicht en krijg ff kanker in je trommelvlies

  • although these guys make good music i have to say that this is only female fronted ska punk band i've seen where the frontwoman(or women)isn't attractive

  • You must be gay. Karina and Elyse are beautiful, real women, not nasty stacks of silicone and paint.

  • yeah theyre beautiful, i would not say hot

  • take a look at karina denike's my space and tell me she isn't beautiful...just cuz she isn't whorish!!! (gs)

  • Save Ferris is good. But could never even be half as good as the Dance Hall Crashers.

  • Well I think Monique Powell has a quite smooth voice, however I don't see any reason for comparison. As for preference, I know I'd go for DHC in terms of music, vocals and attitude. Although I listened to a lot of Save Ferris in the good old days, they never seem "sincere" to me.

  • for some reason, I thought they had horns, and NO Im not thinking of Save Ferris, which I think is a better band, Monique Powell has a better voice than the 2 singers in DHC.

  • Well I think Monique Powell has a quite smooth voice, however I don't see any reason for comparison. As for preference, I know I'd go for DHC both in terms of music, vocals and attitude. Although I listened to a lot of Save Ferris in the good old days, they never seem "sincere" to me.

  • they used to have horns wayyy back in the day. if you buy The Old Record (which is all their early songs) they have horns.

  • Man, I love this band! I saw them open up for No Doubt before they made the big time.

  • argentina! argentina!! pikipiki esta contigo

  • i love them !!

  • i WOULD NOT hit it

  • they shoot all their videos in their garage, so 90's

  • ME 2!!

  • They have matured but stayed awesome over time.

  • How can you not

  • i love them
