  • Prost, Senna, Mansell, Piquet, Patrese, Berger, Alesi. The best era of F1 Pilots in histrory. We all will remember in 50 years of those great drivers.

  • The Gods of F1

  • SENNA SENNA SENNA SENNA!!!!!

  • This is a Great vid !! YES! The Real F1 Champions !

  • ...the Legend lives on...

  • we all miss you ayrton !!!

  • @wladosu He will allways be with us. Every driver would allways be compared with him. That's his legacy he gave us.

  • mansell's 92 world title was long overdue. senna was most certainly the most naturally gifted driver ever and nobody has come close to him since his death in 94. i think mclaren and prost thought senna wasnt going to be a match for prost when senna became his team-mate

  • I was born in 1992 and missed all of this. I had to put up with the Schumacher era when I was little, and what we have now is just a small % of this great period in F1.

  • I will never forget those great champions

  • Schumacher & Vettel are the best Racedriver ever. If you don't believe, see it on the "Race of Champions" in Düsseldorf.

  • SENNA + Formula one =Legend forever!!!!!senna is the number one

  • Génial, la vrais formule 1, la ou il fallait ce battre avec des voitures bien moins moderne que maintenant, et des règlements de la FOM stupide...

    Bravos,

    Ayrton forever.

Great, the real formula 1, or what he had to fight with cars far less modern than now, and the regulations of the FOM stupid ...

    Cheers,

    Ayrton forever

    Jean

  • The best of all time.

    AYRTON FOR EVER

  • Nigel number one!!!

  • these was great seasons.

thanks Alain, Nigel, Nelson and R.I.P. Ayrton...

  • @taku221

  • SENA THE BEST IN HISTORY

  • ok!!! SENNA THE BEST FOREVER!

  • Senna the number one fourever

  • it seems to me that even the champagne "fights" were more exciting then.

  • "In this country" - Over the Top (my favorite Sylvester Stallone movie) song by Robin Zander! Amazing lyrics!Great! Senna was the best! Great video!*****

  • A great era of the formula 1 which never returns.....

    Ayrton Senna---The BEST!!!

  • Great video, five stars.

  • Impresionante video.

Senna x sempre

  • Great , Senna the best

  • To see how far was Mansell from Senna just remember Mansell raced in 80-84 in Lotus, without a single win and a 9th in the championship, while Senna, in the same team in 85-87 won 6 times and achieved 4th twice and a 3rd place on the championship. Mansell only won the championship with the vastly superior FW14B...

  • What? The Lotuses in 85-87 was a vastly superior car than those in 80-84, you can't compare the two. And, while we're talking about superior cars, let's not forget that Senna won his first championship in a car that usually lapped the entire field in each race.

  • Vastly superior? in 84 Lotus got the 3rd on WCC, on 85, they got a 4th. So the 85 isn't better than the 84. On all those years with Angelis and Mansell, who got the only win on Lotus?? Angelis. The best place for Mansell? 3rd. On 85 the team had a 4th on WCC, 1 place lower than the year before. That means the 85 car was worst than 84, even while Senna was able to win in that car. And Mansell won his only championship "in a car that usually lapped the entire field", so, what?

  • Those were great years. Great drivers, great rivelries. Nothing like it since

  • Great memories. Ayrton Senna forever!!!!!!

  • indeed swistral1!

  • 1990's The Best year of Formula one

  • Jeah!

1988-1994 is best time for ever of formula one

  • 3:01 OMFGG, is tat mansell vs prost?? the most tactical overtake, the most ballsy one is the hakkinen on schumi (every1 knows) but the 3:01 wow, wowo tricked the shit outta prost, blind.. blind.. .bang outside peaceee

  • No its Berger

  • The Pinnacle of Formula One. Prost, Senna, Mansell, Piquet, Lauda, and Rosberg winning the World Driving title from 1981-1993. All had to compete with each other and still won 3 (Senna, Piquet), 4 (Prost) world championships. Had they run on their own, the numbers would match and exceed Schumacher's.

  • awesome video

the good old times of f1

  • In This country our hearts are open we're free to try again.......The best song ever and the best champ ever

  • The best years of F1...

  • Senna was a god given natural talent, Prost a technician (and often boring to watch as a result) and Mansell the real balls of steel racer....all great champions and all very different characters....Mansell often made the best TV though!

  • This video touched my heart

  • Good ol´times......

    Senna´s rules !!!

Great video by the way !!!

  • greats sennaaaaa

  • Nyugodj Békében Ayrton! Minden idők legnagyobbja!

  • An incredible video!

  • Great video, man! I like it! :)

  • este vidio e o maximo

  • You can't compare different eras - yes Schumacher would probably have been succesful driving in the 80's and 90's with manual gear shifts, turbos etc. But by the same token, the likes of Clark, Fangio, Senna and Mansell would have been even better racing the current cars, as they are easier to drive, and far more reliable. Senna was the best driver of his generation. Schumacher was the best of his. You can't compare the two men directly.

  • Yeah, you are right, but.. just one little difference. Senna had to compete with his teammate, Alain Prost for example, who had the same good car to win the championship.

Shumacher had a teammate who was paid to finish the race in second.

Better car + zero competition = titles.

  • @marcioaguiar1985 One thing i like most: Schumacher had no pole position till Sennas death. That says everything. Senna was the fastest and will it ever be. Put both into the same car and Schumacher would be a nobody. A nothing. Just another name in formula one but no champion.

  • @Saki2407 i loved senna. but ur retarded with your argument, seriously.

  • Yeeeeeeeeeeeeeah nice video,5 stars.

  • well that benetton that m s was driving had 80hp more than senna´s maclaren.,,,and michal shum. lost to alonso twice in a row ..alonso was learning his trade..had an equal car and managed to kick shummi´s ass twice...well that makes alonso best of all times then,,,,of course not!!!senna was the best..just cant compare senna with m s. try compare senna with clark or fangio or gilles then you will have a point rob...

  • RIP Ayrton

  • what is the song`s name ? plzz

  • In this Country by Robin Zander

May 1st, May Day, RIP Ayrton.

  • hunt you are sooo wrong..even schummi knows who is better..wake up..m s didint score a single pole while racing witn the legends..pleas give up that schummi shit..senna won im monca in his debute with a toleman for god sake...and was robbed by jm ballestre ..pleas wake up

  • not a single pole eh? Is that possibly because he was in a benetton?, possibly beacause he was learning his trade? Possibly because he barely had a chance to race them before they retired. And come on, you know Senna didn't win in Monaco 1984. Calling Senna great is spot on, but asking people to give up that "schumi shit" when your spouting your senna shit is stupid. Too many people blindly say "SENNA IS THE BEST!" and criticize other drivers without justification.

  • why all this respect for the 80´s pilots and so little respect for the 21th century pilots?

Ok, Prost could be better pilot than Senna, but, why Schumacher can´t be better than both of them?

Yes, legends are good things, but, you should not be deceived by them!

All of us have seen crashes and spins so ridiculous of Senna, Mansell and so on that even some can say they are overvalorated, and they were not special!

I say they still are good, but Schumacher is better, what´s the problem?

  • I don't think anyone's trying to take away anything from Schumacher, but it's generally reckognised that this era of F1 was the 'Golden Age'. Why? Intense rivalries, controversy, turbo engines, no traction control, great races, iconic images, 'take your hand off the wheel to change gear', classic tracks etc etc. I'm a Schumi fan (at least in his later career) but this era of F1 fascinates me.

  • spot on

  • brilliant, whats the song?

  • In this country / Robin Zander

  • cheers m8

  • It has nothing to do with this.... or it has in fact...... lol.... after watching yesterday qualifying session in Australia, I enjoyed very much how the currently called "great drivers" were almost about to spin in a couple of corners: the reason? No more traction control... Now they have to demonstrate they drive a car.... no more gay electronics helping hands on rear wheels, lol.... I noticed they found it hard to cope with the circuit with no more electronic traction control, let's see....

  • I agree about Jabouille: I dare to say F1 turbo cars were, in part, a Jabouille contribution..... He was the one who developed turbos for Renault and did a superb job on that matter.... And Arnoux.... was just one of those drivers who aren't fast enough, intelligent enough, tester and technical gifted enough (although being a former mechanic, lol, ironic...), so he had a little bit of everything but had nothing completely... just another driver in F1, in my point of view, Jabouille was better!

  • And Jabouille was sadly way to unlucky. Remember the Austrian GP of 1980, when he did the whole race on just 1 set of tires? He won it in no heroic matter, kept a supeior Williams behind him, he used his racecraft and intelligence to stay ahead. Jabouille, to me was unlucky. He was certainly world class material, a truly underrated driver. If otherwise, he would be in the Prost league, both cast out of the same mold definately.

  • So, to me luciano buddy, the same bad luck syndrome applies to Mansell during his William years. Specially in 91. But I agree with you that he lacked the personnal motivation to carry the whole team behind him. It happened in 92. To me, mansell should been World champion at least 3 times.

  • Yeah Jeepy, Mansell would have been a deserved World Champion in 1987 and 1991 also; in 1986, since my point of view, Mansell and Piquet didn't deserve the Championship since they behaved like a couple of noobs fighting each other and forgetting that Alain was there, waiting for take advantage of their ridiculous confrontation; and make it easier for Alain to win the title with a quite inferior car.... but it's also true Nigel suffered from some "lack of luck", lol, I agree....

  • I'll advice some of them, they better take a look on Ayrton's flying lap in Mónaco 91 (he got the pole) or Alain's flying lap in Jerez 90 (he got 2nd place on grid behind Ayrton). Maybe those laps will help them a little bit in the art of driving a Formula 1 car..... No gay cars for them those days.... and drove like gods!!!. I don't see Raikkonen or even the new star Hamilton able to reach that peak of control of a racing car yet... we'll see... By the way, I see Massa wining this year, you???

  • so, "the god" Mansell, was not "so god". Of course, Mansell was not at 100%, but, nevertheless, what was Nigel, was a good man, who could not be as good as Mika. And the same for other "gods". They could be gods, true, but God-Schumacher has the numbers, the facts, and the brilliant races against gods like Prost, Senna or Mansell to be considered as the greatest god of the history.

But, I know, Senna has many fans, that´s marketing , he´s not the best but, that´s how the bussiness work!

  • You see that Ayrton marketing was at it's top in 1989-1990-1991, but it was more related to Honda than to Ayrton himself... Anyway, it doesn't count on him as a driver: with or without marketing, he was extremely good and fast, a fantastic driver, but marketing helped him in some sense.... But don't forget after Prost retirement and Senna's death, Schummi was at the highest levels of marketing as well, but again: it's not a matter of himself but just because of companies...

  • In regard to Mansell, I consider him as a very fast and fighting driver, although car development and set ups were a little far away from his capabilities..... But was a good one and I think, just my point of view, he was maybe a little better than Hakkinen. Anyway, Mansell suffered from some kind of inferiority complex, he used to whine all the time about the teams and team-mates complot against him, when in fact he was being kicked ass, specially by Piquet and Prost (1986-1987-1990).

  • Luciano, Mansell wasn't overshadowed by Piquet at all during 86-87, it was quite the oppostie. Piquet came to Williams looking to get another W/C in a quiet fashion in a superior car. What he didn't expect was to find a driver quicker than him, Mansell wasn't a number 2 driver at all, and he proved to me more than a match for Piquet. Mansell was unlucky in both 86 and 87. He contributed partly to his bad luck, but was much faster than Piquet

  • You focus on the point Jeepy: what I mean when I talked about he was kicked asses was exactly that: in my point of view Piquet demonstrated to be a more constant driver, and he managed to find the way to beat Mansell. Nigel was faster than Nelson, but speed is just one issue on motorsport.... Alain also did in 1990 what he had to do. The problem Mansell had was that he NEVER managed to find the way to win a Championship (except 92 with a VERY SUPERIOR car...

  • Mansell had bad luck in most of his career, sometimes, you can't explain it, it's just there, and it has nothing to do with the way you drive. One example:Jean-Pierre Jabouille. He was a very competent driver and an excellent developper, very close to Prost. He was a very smooth driver, but in 79-80, specially in 1980, Arnoux was collecting victories and points, but jabouille was constantly plagued with failures. Arnoux was far more tough on his cars than jabouille.

  • Nelson wasn't as fast as Nigel in 1986-1987, but Nelson found that way to the championship that Nigel looked for and never obtained. And he contributed by making stupid mistakes... On the other hand, Piquet was just in a "wait and see" driving, always prepared to get advantage of Nigel's problems with his car, or his mistakes. Piquet won 1987 because of good luck, because of being very selfish, and because Mansell gave him the Championship as a "gift" due to his mistakes....

  • But they were 2 different drivers a little like Prost-Senna. Nelson was much more technical and applied than Mansell. But seeing that Mansell was way quicker, he decided, specially in 87, when the Imola crash knocked the stuffing out of him, to race for points instead of trying to match Mansell in pure speed. It worked, but Piquet didn't kick Mansell at all. When Mansell found himself paired with Prost in 1990, it was a whole different ballgame

  • Before 1990, Prost and Mansell were good buddies, but when Mansell started working with Prost, he found him to be to himself, not sharing much info. Alain basically took the team under his arm and worked in that direction, leaving Mansell to his own devices. Prost realy learnt his lesson in the wake of the McLaren episode. He did the right thing, you have to be selfish to suceed in this business, and he almost took Ferrari to the top.

  • And it's true that Alain and Nigel were quite friends in fact; but they broke their "marriage" in 1990 just because of what I tried to explain: Mansell didn't find the way to be "the one" who take the command of the team. He did it in 1992 just at the end of his career!!!. He should have learnt how to manage that by 1986 and 1987 and he would have been, maybe, a 3 World Champion. NOBODY denies he was fast and talented, but he needed, at that time, a more calm attitude!!!

  • lucianoestivill, you talk quite seriously, my whole respect to you, you talk with facts, not like many other people who only can say "pfff Senna is the best bbzzz blblblb"

But I can not agree with you in some things you say. Senna had a great marketing of himself. And for example Mansell had it too. But just compare Mansell with Hakkinen. Hakkinen humilliated Mansell in 1995, so hard that Mika has said sometimes how he could Nigel´s cry!!!

  • hunt2727, I agree on some point with you: Ayrton had a very good marketing of himself, being helped specially by HONDA; my father was a Shell Manager at that time, and in 1988 they had Prost as the name of success. Then Senna join and they had Prost and Senna as names of success. But in 1989, Shell was in fact under some pressure from Honda, and suddenly Senna turned out to be the name of success, pissing off Prost. Shell, Honda, McLaren, they started to piss off Prost.....

  • @hunt2727

Mika humiliated him?? Nigel only raced for 2 GP's! At the start of the season he couldn't get into the cockpit as he had a wider bone structure than Hakkinen, hence missing the first 2 races. For a guy at the age of 42 (15 years older than his team-mate), out of F1 for a year and a half, he had the qualifying pace. But not the stamina anymore. He gained weight and felt demotivated. His heart wasn't into F1 anymore.

At least Mansell never cried in the bushes in front of the whole world.

  • @hunt2727

By your own logic Schumi has been humiliated for more than a season by his team-mate Rosberg. So that makes rosberg a much better driver than Shumi overall?! I hope you can now see with Schumi's comeback that you can't rate a driver by the tail end of his career . Age, mentality, being out of the sport etc playing factors in driving ability.

  • The truth is, that if Senna had done the race Schumacher did in Brasil 94 when many people expected Senna´s victory, many of Senna´s fans would be saying now that this was the definite proof that "he" was the best.

A pity, but Schumacher has demonstrated being the best.

At least many experts in formula 1, including many actual and former F1 pilots say Schumacher is the best pilot of ever

  • Schummi was an excellent driver, but stating that he was better than Senna or Prost, is going too far........ I agree that he started 94 season way better than Senna, in fact, he won the 3 first races and Senna even didn't finish one of them (taking into account his tragedy in Imola). Ayrton sucked 2 first races and agree he had no excuses for not winning, as he did everything possible to go to Williams and he had the car he wanted... But saying Schummi was far away form Senna or Prost, no way.

  • Finally: we don't know what could have happened if Ayrton hadn't died, but with today's F1 scoring system, Alain Prost would have been seven times World Champion also: 1983, 1984, 1985, 1986, 1988, 1989, 1993. And don't forget Ayrton and Alain had real champions as teammates, specially Prost, Schummi just had some assholes as teammates, who drove for him, but NOBODY can say that in regard to Senna and Prost, who had to fight against their teammates very often (even between them!!!)

  • well well... the truth is that Schumacher raced against Senna, Prost, Mansell, Piquet... and Schumacher was faster than them sometimes, and compared to Senna and Piquet, he was many times better than them.

Hakkinen? Hakkinen was in front of Senna in Portugal 93, in his first race with Mclaren!! And... Mansell against Hakkinen in Mclaren, in 1995 made the world bigest ridiculous!!! Possibly Mika was better than Mansell, and he was at the same level as Prost, Senna...

  • Wow, give me the adress of your drug dealer hunt2727, what cloud did you fall off from??Stop posting rubbish like that! You seem to say that Mr perfect is called Schumacher???LOL and although Hakkinen was awesome, equal to Schumacher in talent, but way superior as a human being, Senna was on a seperate level, a supernatural, so give everybody a break dude, let us all recover from stomach cramps, you are extremely funny.....

  • As lazerpod66 said, Mika was almost as talented as Schummi, maybe the main difference between them is that Schummi was a better tester in my view, but I guess that Schummi didn't reach the level of Ayrton in pure speed. Ayrton was fast as if he was possessed by the devil himself!. And he didn't reach the level of Prost in terms on technical matters (I dare to say no driver in F1 reached Alain's level of technical capabilities). But Mika wasn't at Senna or Prost level, no way, that's not serious.

  • Lucianno is right, absolutely nobody can touch Prost technically, not even the great senna, nobody, and specially not Schumacher.

  • In fact, Schummi didn't reach the level of pure speed Ayrton had, or the level of applied intelligence and technical capabilities Alain had. Anyway, isn't true that Ayrton wasn't a good tester, he was very good at it and is underestimated on that topic by some noobs... The same noobs that say Alain wasn't fast, another underestimation which is just another stupid myth: Alain was very fast, it was his style that seemed to be low, but he was able to make raw speed racing looking "a low driver"...

  • Entirely true luciano buddy. Back at the time when people use to time the drivers on the pitwall with stopwatches, when prost was timed, people had to doublecheck their watches, it just didn't show how quickly he was going. He was so smooth and fluid, a real master grand prix driver at the absolute peak of motoracing, I seriously doubt that anybody can be as good as him anytime in the future, he is in another dimension, Schumacher just doesn't compare to this champion.

  • Schumacher ended what ? Schumacher would never be able to win against lets start to count...

Stewart, Lauda, Gilles, Emerson Fittipaldi, Piquet, Prost, Mansell, Senna.

man! HE LOST TO HILL! VILLENEUVE! ALONSO AND HAKKINEN! none of them are match for ANY of the drivers i listed above, NONE.

I CHANGE MY NAME if Hill or Alonso beated one of them. How can SCHUMACHER end myths, legends, true gladiatios like them ?

Schumacher would never be able to do it, even if, he wouldn't do it.

  • Tempos que nunca voltarão ...

    Quanta saudades desses tempos ...

Isso é que era formula 1

  • Schumacher who ???????

    Senna,Piquet,Prost,Mansell >>> Schummi.(Austria 2002 sux !).

He lost one for hill, one for vileneuve, two for mika, two for alonso.

ProstxSenna,2 years in the same team.

    SchumacherxBarrichello = BossxSlave.

    Bye.

  • you're too funny. it's too bad that you don't have the courage to accept that extra ordinary hard work leads to ongoing success. senna was tremendous. he worked as hard as schumacher did. and no other champ - and thats what they all are - can successfully compete to them.

  • who the hell is hill, or villeneuve. prost was a sneaky little wimp.

of course austria 2002 sux - i was there, but open your eyes little princess - thats big business, with big money involved. not schumacher made the decision! thats policy. either way - he's a big champ millions ahead of noobs like hill or villeneuve.

  • Hold on bonscott, Prost masterminded his racing, and was an exeptional driver. Very few drivers can be compare to him tech wise. His contribution to the sport is immense and deserves respect, so rephrase your taughts dude.

  • I agree with my friend lazerpod66, Jeepy for me (lol): rephrase your "mind" I'd say......... In fact, Alain was much better than a lot of people think, and was really fast, not only intelligent and good tester, he was VERY VERY FAST. Take a look on his "camara car" in Suzuka 1989... You'll see the difference Alain built in the 1st lap, with cold tyres, with his easy style, but flat out!!!. Unbelievable!!! Go and check it yourself!!! Just perfect!!!

  • Schummi was far away from Hill and Jacks Villeneuve (in fact Hill was better than Jacks, in my view), but you don't understand nothing about motorsport if you disregard Alain Prost, a 4 times WC, 4 times Runner Up, 51 wins, 41 fastest laps, 33 poles..... and racing against real drivers like (the best) Ayrton, Lauda, Mansell, Piquet, Rosberg, Jones, Gilles Villeneuve, Reutemann, Watson, Pironi, etc. Unfortunately, Schummi had no real opposition at that time...

  • @lucianoestivill

    I agree , and alboreto , patrese , de angelis ....

  • Schumacher finished the legend of Senna, Prost, Piquet and so on.

He demonstrated being a rookie, that he was much superior than all of them, he kicked all their asses!!

Even more, Schumacher was the only one of them who went voluntarily to a second row team (Ferrari was a second, if not a third row team in the year 1995)

    Bye friends!

  • Don't agree at all..... hunt2727. Prost also moved to Ferrari, which was a sucking team with a sucking car, and became Runner Up to Senna, finishing the championship just a few point behind...... Ferrari was not a winner car at that time, it was Alain the one who made it work, he developed a good car for that 1990 season... He gave his best to make it win, and did it 5 times!!! And was near the championship.... Remember.....

  • Gotta love the tunes from the Over the Top Soundtrack.

  • great song,really good.

  • 2:05 almost Nigel! 2:40 cheeky alesi 4:07 senna the king of Monaco

Nigel Mansell once said, that senna said something to him on the podium that made his blood turn cold(despite just having won the championship) senna whispered to mansell now you know what a cruel bastard i am because i don't want anybody else to feel what your feeling know

    great vid:)

  • Si può anche usare il "Promo Code" LOVECARD e ricevere $550 in altri sale poker, non solo Doylesroom com? Per favore, rispondetemi il più presto possibile.

  • thats true those were the golden years, shumacher never had that kind of competition i agree with that coment that said shumacher wouldnt won a championship in that era, they were true legends, senna, prost, mansell, piquet, berger, its really sad to tune today races and watch idiots as alonso, the mediakid hamilton ,,i miss those races

  • so quem viveu esta epoca sabe dizer quem e o melhor piloto de todos os tempos?

    A. Senna da Silva.

  • hunt are you retarded?scummy with 7 titles on that era?retarded!!!

  • Fantastic Manchan5.The golden era!

  • great video

  • schumacher was 94 WM leader as senna and ratzenberger crashes.

with schumacher gone the last real champion from formel 1.

at this time drives primary marketing childs.

schumacher, mansell, senna, prost, berger thats the real f1 stars ever. i miss them every race.

    schumacher plz come back.

  • Schumacher is very far from those legends.

    Stay away Schumacher.

  • Ok he has not the charisma of Senna or Prost but he is an brilliant driver.

  • schumacher is a terrible example of of a sportsman, no matter how good he might be. He is a dirty, underhanded swine, and the ONLY reason he has 7 titles is because he had NO ONE competitive racing aganst him. Hell, even Eddie Irivne almost won a title back then. Get real.

  • Nós acompanhamos os melhores tempos da Formula 1 mas não demos o devido valor. Que saudade!

We lived the best Formula 1 times but we didn't notice it. I really miss those times!

  • if Schumcher had raced those years maybe Schummi would have now 0 titles, Prost 3, Senna 7 (88, 90, 91, 94, 95 ,96, 97) Piquet 3, Mansell 1.

    ok? :P

  • Absolutely impossible for Senna to get 7 WC, I don't think so at all....... He hardly got 88 WC due to that rules that count only 11 beter results for every driver, In fact Prost got much more points that year... And in 1989, Without that ridiculous rules, Prost took his 3 WC, even being completely boicoited by Ron Dennis, following pressures from Honda...... No way: Ayrton was a genious, but Prost was, at that time, the only one that was able to beat him..... The rest......

  • I agree that Prost was the only one able to beat Senna, but Prost and Senna, Senna won 3 times, Prost 2, 1 cheating a race, and the other with a so much superior car, Senna won against him in same conditions wich is A LOT different, but i still agree with you, Prost was the only one, but Senna scores higher.

but you're crazy if you think that woulb be Impossible to Senna to win 7 WC, remember that 94 haven't Prost, Senna would win 94, 96 and 97 too as Williams was superior, so 3+3 = 6. Easy.

  • LOL Taikamya, Senna scored higher than what??? Prost scored more than Senna, both in 1988/1989, more points in both seasons... And forget about the "cheating": Alain won the title for himself dude, against the real cheating that Dennis-Honda-McLaren prepared for Alain. Ayrton had the advantage in 1989, everyone worked for him in Honda and McLaren... But lost it anyway... And it was a pity watching Ayrton crying on a press conference after losing his title... 1989 wasn't Ayrton's year at all...
