Stage should be a road, where you have to run, characters viewed from behind, Sonic Unleashed style, and brawl whilst rushing to the castle. Normal stages on the way would be a courtyard and the castle itself. Maybe you could even see mario and luigi dueling it out with bowser on top.

I know Bowser's Road only leads up to the boss battle, but this music could easily have been used as the BGM for a boss battle - like if they made you do a mandatory battle against Giga Bowser. It's like "Yeah, he's slow, but he'll still kick your ass."
