this is much better than you're making out. it takes 2gb of ram, they did do a 3G model and the hard drive is 160gb but it can be upgraded to 500gb. also runs win 7.

I've got mine since 1 year now, same color, a blue one and i must say this SAMSUNG NC10 is SUPER!!! Realy i don't regret at all to have perchased it because despite it's low sound capacity, it got everything built-in and super slim/small that you can carry anywhere as a profesional or evryone who love speed working computers!

So does saying ebooks are not excellent as normal PC are just wrong!

The long batt life is a bonus and I wanna get it right first time around ( though if my HP is anything to go by, laptop batts only last 6 months or so before they knacker and your lucky if you get 10 mins after that! )

Batt lifetimes are something that really needs to be addressed re laptops IMHO

@amazingdany up to 6 hours with the gay power management stuff turned on. normally its only 4.5 hours. who uses the built in speakers, have you seen how tiny they are? i just use my ipod touch earbuds, or when im at home, the logitech z-2300.

This is one of the highest rated netbooks out there so far, with longer battery life than any other, too. Yes, you can do mp4 and "basic" movie watching (no HD obviously). And yes, the woman doing the review looks like she lost her dentures and is "gumming it" (yikes, who picked her?).

the 3G model can take the broadcom HD decoder (replacing the 3G) but if you have the standard model you need to get the card slot for it from an n120 or something.

Got one of these, its great but my LCD screen broke so I had to send it it, funny thing am using the replacement even tho no ones come to pick up the old one, stange.

Would recommend the NC 10 as its got eveything you need in a netbook part from a SIM card reader but thats no biggie

Yes. But it doesn't come with you, you must buy separately. Having said that, if you want to game, you'd be better off getting a full sized laptop, as this thing is a netbook; i.e. built for browsing internet, MSN, Skype etc.

It's not got great graphics for a laptop, but it has for a netbook.

@Moleskineman the graphics are pretty good. mine runs windows 7 and can still play early 2000s 3d games such as the first harry potter or rayman 3 for example.
