Alreet marra, good review, I've been on olanzapine for about , dunno 4 years, did the rounds with a couple of other anti-psychotics but olanzapine does the trick it seems when I need it, am permanently on a maintenance dose and up it every now and then when the world gets freaky. you're a good reviewer I agree with your review, even made me giggle, the weight issue, well I take them and I get raving hunger so I take it at night, and only eat one meal a day (unless on a night out), after my meds.
ask ya doctor for quetiapine seroquel.they are a much better drug then olanzapine.im on 800mg ov quetiapine a day and it stops my hilucinations.but allso makes me very drowsy.however they dont make u feel deprest like olanzapine can.
oh aye , and im on it because i hilucinate and hear my own thoughts in a difrent voice ,,, plus ive smashed my mate with a cup for no reason and got sectioned plus ive tryed tae kill maself like 3 times and one of witch i dont remember trying , and woke up with ma arms split wide open with the tendants wrigling out my arm ,,,,great fun! NOT ,, but they aint workin for me ,, they just keep uping ma fukin dose ,, like a lab rat ,,, fukin doctor cunt
I used to be on 20mg a day of Olanzapine but i started having eye spasms so now i'm on seroquel XR which i can't get out of bed with and i'm gonna go back on Olanzapine....

i have got the t-shirt, im diagnosed parnoid schzciophrenic i never have took medcation for severval years,so i can say sumthin i enjoy my vodka, but that had a down side as i was admitted to hospital damaged pancraes:)least the saline drips helpedthat other shit near killed me especially risperdal

i take 5 mg at nite, doesnt affect me to badly as far as tiredness is concerned. I just take it early and sleep off the sedative effects. Most of the time, during the day im ok.

I have been prescribed Chlorpramzine and Seroquel in the past for anxiety but will never take these again, they are so sedating I couldn't do anything! I remember them trying to use it instead of the Benzodiazepine family but its for more sedating then any of them, and don't feel like a complete zombie!!
Im a geordie like you mate. 20mg is a high dose (unless youre locked up somewhere!). Dont know if youre in a position to do it, but i take them when i feel stuff going a bit daft (like when i leave the house and the birds are watching me lol) , and then come back off them for a bit? Its not the drowsyness etc that i hate its the abnormal ejaculations! (dont see many lads saying that) If you feel shit, its bad but when you cant have a decent wank to cheer you up whats the point!!

I took this medicine for a few months. I gained 30 pounds in the first 1 month on just 10 mg. Medicine knocked me the hell out. Peace
