I believe Mr. Swaggart has truly repented of his sins, and God has forgiven him. I also believe that after suffering the consequences of his mistakes, Mr. Swaggart has become a more humble, sincere, non-judgmental person. I'm so glad that once someone repents, the Lord doesn't continue to bring up past mistakes the way some people do!

He is not Jesus, who was perfect. He is a man of God, in the flesh, he fell. That is why we can relate to him. He is one of the best preachers I have ever ever seen.
I believe that brother Swaggart is an anointed man of God and I grew up listening to his powerful sermons. The reason he can minister to a lot of us is because we can relate to him, and a lot of us have stumbled and the Lord has lifted us up, just how he lifted up Jimmy Swaggart for its by grace that were saved through faith and that not or ourselves it is a gift from God.

Beautiful, powerful song. This version sounds better than the newer versions also. Thank the Lord for Jimmy Swaggart Ministries. I believe Mr. Swaggart has truly repented of his sins, and God has forgiven him. I also believe that after suffering the consequences of his mistakes, Mr. Swaggart has become a more humble, sincere, non-judgmental person. I'm so glad that once someone repents, the Lord doesn't continue to bring up past mistakes the way some people do!

Monday I took my father to dialysis and a woman was there waiting for her treatment to start. It was clear she was mentally challenged as well as sick. Donny Swaggart twisted scripture the other day.He had another money drive and misquoted Jesus. If you love Me feed My sheep. Jesus was referring to preachers doing preaching for free.Donny twists it around and says if you love Jesus,send himself money as this is what Jesus instructed.
Sheeple need to question deceivers.

@mccall153 I think you might have mistaken my message. My issue with Swaggart isn't his sexual escapades from the past, it's his odious style of fire and brimstone evangelism. The way he lashes out at anything and everything that doesn't conform to his pinched view of existence. Swaggart rails against all whatever he considers "ungodly" which includes just about everything... christians, Catholics atheists, music, TV and on and on. But it's okay when Swaggart launches those missiles, right?

Throughout his whole career as a tele-vangelist, Swaggart has passed judgement and condemnation on almost everything. He was pretty much the poster boy for Christian intolerance, but if I (or anyone else) dares to retaliate by giving Swaggart a taste of his own medicine, we are branded as "without mercy" and "hurtful". The hypocrisy astonishes me.

Dear Mr Swaggart, in 2005 my father was on his death bed with cancer soon before he passed, in front of us all, he made peace and came right with the Lord. We were all amazed, we had not experienced that heavenly presence before & we were all lost (trying to cope watching our father die), quality over quantity...he spoke of you & how you brought him to the Lord many years ago @ the NewLife Church in Manurewa, New Zealand, from my father Mr Richard Campbell, and my family, Thank you & God Bless
