very cool film.james coburn is just an awesome actor.my favorite coburn films are the last hard men and hard times and of course duck you sucker.in last of the hard men he plays a real bastard.
I just bought this movie on DVD, I haven't watched it yet, but judging by this trailer I'm now asking myself: WHY AM I NOT WATCHING THIS RIGHT NOW? This looks awesome!
The only problem with this film is the titles it has. "A Fistful of Dynamite" makes it sound like some sort of sequel to Fistful of Dollars, which it is nothing like, and "Duck You Sucker" sounds like the title of some slapstick comedy from the 1920's. Really it should be called "Once Upon a Time In The Revoloution".
@JoeSonic5678 Indeed. The other title of the film is better: "Duck, You Sucker! (Giù la Testa!)
AKA Once Upon a Revolution." It is "a key transitional work that reveals Leone working towards the more complex and ambiguous characters of his late films." "Duck, You Sucker! (Italian: Giù la testa), also known as A Fistful of Dynamite and Once Upon a Time… the Revolution."
@JoeSonic5678 "It is the second part of a trilogy of epic Leone films including the previous Once Upon a Time in the West and the subsequent Once Upon a Time in America, released thirteen years later."
@JoeSonic5678 In Brazil, it's called "Quando Explode a Vingança!", which, in english, means: "When Revenge Explodes!", I think it's also an appropriate title
It's set in 1913 during the Mexican Revolution. Yes they had motorcycles. No they didn't have tanks yet. The one in the film is just an armored wagon.
@fierfly25 Once upon a time was my best western until i discovered The Great Silence. That is now and forever will be my Numero Uno. The ending had me drop my jaw to the floor.
@Arcane1Soldier i like the great silence too but i would never ever rank it above ouatiw, the good the bad and the ugly or others like django and the mercenary
@Kananmunakas You really enjoy insulting other people do you. If trolling is what gives you pleasure then I seriously suggest you get a life ! Because what you are doing now, which is annoying other people, is just a DEAD END YOU FREAK !
@NorwegianDirector seriously! i feel like there is still something about the ending that is just too deep for me to understand. like it ended so abruptly and i thought about it for days. i think i get it, but i there is probably much more to it than i realize. i love it though.
@NorwegianDirector plus i love the music that starts around 2:24. it is such pretty music but with violent, chaotic images. Sergio Leone and Ennio Morricone are the ultimate team. it reminds me of the beautiful music that is played when Tuco gets beaten in The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly. as rotten of a person as Tuco is, i always felt sorry for him since the first time i saw the movie when i was 6 years old.

Great film. Wonder why this is hardly mentioned next to Leone's other Westerns.

funcooldrew2 9 months ago
the most complete of Leone's Westerns IMHO- and his last credited Western- worth the price of admission but more than simple bang bang.
androydnyc 10 months ago
Should i see this? The Good the Bad and the Ugly is probably one of my favorite movies but i haven't seen many of Leone's other moives.
Also the line "rub him the wrong way and he'll go off in your face" could not be better delivered.
