Milltek Audi A5 3.0 TDi - sound like a diesel?

@Kronosk2 Agreed but a petrol or "gas," powered v6 doesn't return over 40mpg on a combined cycle thats why I have the 3.0tdi in my A4, Children prevent me from having an A5 :(

i can hear that it's a diesel :) I saw a car like this a few days ago and i could hear it from about 200meters that it's a diesel :) but still sounds great :) But MTM RS4 sound better xD

youve got much less fuel consumption and everytime much more torque.

3.0 diesel with 6MT . awesome.

but the 2.0 tdi with 170 hp and 6MT is fast enough i think.

We do know what we're missing! It's the idiots that won't let us import them, or the VW people that don't want to. I for one love these engines, got me a 98 jetta tdi with 260k miles (~420000 km) and am still upgrading it. if only i could get me a 2.5 tdi in there :D

@RDC98TDI I wanted a TDI for my '98 Jetta soooo bad, but couldn't find one for sale so I have the 2.0 Petrol instead. I still wish I had a diesel deep down inside even though the 2.0 is still a very good car.

Just barely sounds like a diesel, not at all like a typical diesel truck (Powerstroke or Cummins) more car like.

Does sound very petrol like, but you can still hear it's a diesel because a petrol V6 would probably hit 6,500+RPM, and the powerband sounds very diesel like, because as it gets beyond 4,000ish the revs stop building so fast.
