@jasonschmidty01 I know what you mean. I've been going to Joplin since I was a little kid. It's unreal how much damage was actually done. :/ I'm glad people helped out though.
On a side note...thanks for showing the view of lightning and storms to the south. As you were filming this we were getting hammered by as severe a thunderstorm as I can recall in Bella Vista, AR, on the Missouri/Arkansas line two counties south. Streets near ours lost power, and the disc-shaped, nickel-sized hail we had sounded as though it were being THROWN against our house, not being dropped. This storm was tragically surreal.
@ATamandua ...but I've got to add. That's almost less than nothing compared to what Joplin received. ">(
My son's graduation was the day before and we had his reception on May 22. Lots of relatives were to come from Springfield, MO through the U.S. 71/I-44 interchange (which also got hit hard) but praise God none of them were there when this happened.
@ATamandua Yeah, It was pretty bad! Alot of people were affected by it. It was cool too see how many people pitched in to help! Glad you and ur family are all safe
Bo Shane. I am soooo glad that you are okay! I was really worried. I didn't really hear about this until the other night and I was outta town and away from the computer and I don't have your number. But I am seriously so glad that you are okay! I hope everything is going okay over there. ♥I haven't watched the whole video yet. But this is very sadd/:
