It's not entirely your fault, the judges were very stupid to kick some better(ish) photos, like João's.

If only I'd known at an appropriate time, although would I have had as much inspiration if I hadn't seen the routes other people took? Even those that don't make it through, provide creative sparks for many others through their enthusiastic and talented explorations of the theme.

I really appreciate the fact that you introduced the challenge before showing what the contestants did. It gives me time to think what I would do if I was given this challenge.
Please continue to introduce the challenge that was given before showing (or even hinting at) what the contestants have done so that I can formulate my own idea of how I would tackle the challenge.

NATALIA VARZINA's Photo was by far the best of the best. I think she definitely deserves to win. I think she captured every aspect of what a photo booth photo should be. That picture is just truly beautiful. I would love to see more of her work. Extremely Talented.....

And Arnis' photo i think was the worst of the bottom 3, an idea. But in the end, if you saw that in a magazine, or gallery. You would have no idea what its all about, just a portrait, and an average one at that...
At least with the other photos they followed the brief. If you don't at least stick to the brief at least a tiny bit, Then they should be in the bottom...

I agree with a lot of what was said in the video. Your video doesn't tell the story, only your photo can. The photo has to stand alone and allow anyone to see or understand what's going on. Two of them looked like a portrait and a few others looked more like "pictures"... snapshots if you will.
Judging seemed very fair for the photos in this round.

At first I was considering to write an angry comment on how bad some of these photos are and question why they are even in the competition. However, these judges are phenomenal and I agree with most of what they say. It's great that they are not trying to censor their criticism.
I choose Charlie...I cannot believe the picked him for elimination...WE SHOULD BE THE JUDGES...not just two professional photogs....after all photography is subject to everyones interpretation...just like Art.

At first I was considering to write an angry comment on how bad some of these photos are and question why they are even in the competition. However, these judges are phenomenal and I agree with most of what they say. It's great that they are not trying to censor their criticism.

I choose Charlie...I cannot believe the picked him for elimination...WE SHOULD BE THE JUDGES...not just two professional photogs....after all photography is subject to everyones interpretation...just like Art.

Some leave good comments, but most comments are really quite hateful and bitter. I, for one, don't think that qualifies as proper judging.

Hmmm. None of these pics blew my drawers off. It is like there was too much work on props and background nonsense and not enough on the photos. Hope that changes. Weegee would have never built any of that shit. LOL.
