See, when I watched season one of this show, I felt a little sorry for the first pitchers. Because it was new. Standing not only before investers, but literally standing before the whole UK and the world.
But almost ten years later, how in the hell can people not realize what they're getting into when they come onto this show? Why agree to it at all unless you are certain you can pull it off?
It's not like getting shot down by them is the end of the world, as long as you presented well.
@NateSean Have you ever seen the "Idol" shows? look how long they have been on t.v and I still see unprepared idiots on every season of american idol, maybe they just wanna be on t.v.? who knows, but ya it's pretty sad.
@PunkRockPat Yeah, but the only difference is, it's funny when those kids get laughed off the stage because it's not the end of the world. Look at William Hung. American Idol is a gold mine of failed auditions turned celebrity and I'm sure the other Idol shows operate on the same principle.
In Dragon's Den, I just feel sad for the ones who bomb this monumentally. Because not only are they failing to get their money, but their chances of trying to make it in this economy are also screwed.
