    I did try in oven but I don't like oven dried since it kind of bake little bit and texture doesn't stay good but if you are ready to compromise with these kind of issues then you can use oven...or try with very small amount first. In fact, you can also let them dry naturally in your house where you have heating vent...hope this helps!

    I think India grocers have different type of vadis made from lentils or soy...but these kind of vadis can be made only at home as far as I know...enjoy!

  • Dear Bhavana , i made vadi . u told in the video that we cn store it in fridge. If we store in fridge do we have to keep it in air tight container with paper towel in it or just keep it in zip lock bag ? . Hope u will help .

    You can store in ziploc bag if you storing in fridge...but make sure they are completely dry. enjoy!

    There are so many low fat recipes such as soups, salads, which you can serve but for light snack, I keep all kinds of roasted chevdas..

    It is better to use coarse flour of lentils to make great chunks but if you can't find, this is the method...enjoy!

    Yes, I do know that Wadi or Vadi are prepared diffrerently regionwise so basically, you can use any dal you want...enjoy!
