John McCain has admitted on numerous occasions that he doesn't know much about economics. (/watch?v=q_APdK9fgDM&feature=related) Now he can't debate because he's going back to DC to go save our economy?!
Kinda like he did with the $500 BILLION S&L BAILOUT? That's when McCain was dragged into court for ETHICS VIOLATIONS known as 'The Keating Five' scandal. (/watch?v=Jvzspw64we0)
He shouldnt be allowed to be involved in the bailout with his record and admitted lack of knowledge!!
"If we need to suspend the elections in order to deal with this economic crisis, executive privilege allows for that. Right now, we need to address this crisis. If suspending elections indefinitely will help the nation, I am willing to do that." said President Bush late this afternoon.
When pressed for how long elections would be suspended for, he said that a time table would not be determined until after the elections are suspended.
Why is McCain weak?> because he will serves his country who elected him? Do you know McCain would/win the debate over foreign policy, which is schedule to broadcast on Friday?
McCain chooses to hide from us all, at a time when we need to see what the candidates have to say most. That is weak. Only blind partisans will believe he doesnt' have time for a 90 min. debate. To bad the 2 party system won't allow candidates not from the republicrats to debate that are ready. Pretty much McCain's move has sealed his defeat. So maybe time to think about supporting other candidates who talk about real change (no more spending more than we have).
Being wrong about invading Iraq doesn't make you strong. He's also wrong about the economy. By the way apparently, according to this speech, McCain thinks that speech at the Clinton Initiative is more important than fixing the economy. This is obviously a political stunt. If it weren't he would have dropped everything.
I heard Hannity say the Debate on Friday is about foreign policy, which has nothing to do with the economy, I suppose McCain concurs.
The answer to our economic crisis is close all military operations in every country around the world, wean everyone off welfare except those who are disabled, and only do what the CONSTITUTION allows government to do. But only "Common Sense" ideas like that died with Thomas Paine.

Although McCain claims otheriwse to me this looks like a deliberate attempt to appear above party politics. Maybe I'm too cynical but it looks like a move dreamt up in a commitee meeting by McCain's advisors rather than a decision from McSame himself.
flip flop. Whoops!
