he doesn't seem to ride anything like armstrong. He is more of a sprinter, lead out man, or opportunist. I doubt he will ever challenge in the mountains without losing a significant amount of weight.

He is not a pure climber though.

He is good at everything, but he is great in time trial, sprint, and hills. Long climbs might be out of his grasp, right now.

Not only is he over 4 minutes behind Cunego in GC due to mountain stages but todays stage can hardly be called a mountain stage at all. Nobody really gained time and cunego finished 5 spots back. Any climber getting beat by Cunego at the moment deserves a wake up call because Cunego has disapointed me so far.

yea lance didn't challenge in the mountains until he was 27. After his cancer treatment, dropping 10 pounds and a complete reworking of his hormones. The guys is a freak of nature. And what is pre 93 mean? It would be pre 99 wouldn't it? You can't compare the two. Even though i like Boasson Hagen and hope he does become a contender.
