I tried Guinness for the first time in Dublin. It was amazing, shame it doesn't taste as nice back here though.

All the guinness adverts are excellent, this is second to the 'surfer' advert.

In the end, when his brother hands him the pint, I am pretty sure they digitally manipulated the glass to hide him actually spilling the 'perfect' Guinness head.

I don't understand why the Guinness surfer ad was voted number 1. I couldn't see any real connection to the product.

This is the best advert I've ever seen. Fantastic editing and a brilliant piece of film making.

the surfer ad ties in with the "good things come to those who wait" theme. Surfers often wait for that "perfect wave" the once in a lifetime one. Or just the general patience in waiting for a good wave anyway. Check out the film point break (also a surfing term)

Best commercial ever. Glazer's Guiness surfer ad was voted Britain's best TV advert advertisement, but this earlier ad by him is even better. Perfect score & editing.
