  • I used to have all his vids. Mcneil's syle is very relaxed insomuch that it sometimes looks a bit sloppy. I remember he got some criticism from other Hsing - i guys about this. But it just goes to show you that there is no one orthodox way of doing Hsing - i.

  • I have never seen this guy before but his moves look as if they could do some damage.

  • Very good No nonsense XingYi.

Clear mind intent with active chi.

  • I like that he beats up on Italians, I dont like Italians, Xing Yi Was origionally intended for use in inveding italy in the 9th century.

  • this is great. I love it when good teachers show the practical and fighting aspects of kung fu. The world is slowly starting to see beyond what t.v. has fed us.

    Great job.

  • You seemd very talented my friend. And it lookes like you got this right. Can i ask you Sifu, Have you been training in China to acomplish this skills you now have?

May the path of peace and love be a path of yours // Sifu M.

  • Interesting that the movements are so short

    Rick

  • I like when he makes those funny noises. Very powerful!

  • Its probably Him doing breathing exercises.

  • been studing for years , pactioners in california dont know that he may be one of the best masters in the unnited states. He is very nice but absotutly a bad ass.And he speaks chinese

  • I agree, this man really knows his stuff. Years ago he did push hands, amazing, up off the ground, and back away from him.

  • California has probably the best martial arts teachers in the country maybe more hten NY.

  • Does he do any grappling? His Iron Palm training isnt as long as most other iron palm trainers. I wonder if he can break coconuts and stuff i think ive seen him break alot of bricks so i guess he could break a coconut iwth his palm and boards iwth his finger tips He told me its just a matter of were to strike.

  • Hi Milder,

Not if you are thinking of BJJ/wrestling, but he is very cognizant of there existence. His Chi Na tends to be more of the fast snap/limb damage and back to punching ilk.

Yes, coconuts are very easy to break just hit them on the joint with a palm heel - not even worth studying to be honest. Some people make this out to be a high art - it isn't. Many people can achieve this without any hand conditioning.

  • @chrisl38 He talks about how he works on his footwork so he's VERY FAST and he teaches people this too. I havent heard of the animals he teaches about though very interesting. And he teaches Tai Chi as well

  • He has a slight Chinese accent. :)

  • Thanks, glad you enjoyed it.

  • Very nice movement

  • My favorite is the one at about :38. I really like stuff like that, interesting to see Chin Na in Xing Yi.
