I don't think it was ever officially known but the team but he was still messed up enough for them to notice. and they knew he was being drugged so it doesn't take a scientist to figure it out XD Although, there was an episode where he was at some rehabilitation class or something. one of those "Hi, I'm Spencer Reid and I'm a drug addict" "All: Hi Spencer" XD

No Emily was not abused she had a abortion when she was 15 and then the guy who got her pregnant died and they found the body

@dkfan101 it wasnt the guy that got her pregnant that died. the guy that died just went with her to get the abortion and stood up to the priest that was angry at her for it. if you watch closely at the end of the episode you will see that the father of the baby was the guy she saw at the bar and eventually saved during the exorcism
