keep in mind that pacquiao has been sparring with middleweights in the gym. cotto might be smarter than porter, but at best is at par with porter strenght-wise. IMO i don't think cotto is bigger and faster than porter. shoot..... roach even said porter is faster, stronger, bigger than cotto.

We can consider that, for now, Cotto is still undefeated. He showed some weaknesses in the past, but he is a strong one. As I say everywhere, this fight is simple. It will be Pacquiao's speed OR Cotto's power that will win the fight. Both could be caught by the opponent. That's a great match-up!!! :)

Okay I'm starting to get sick of people making up excuses for pacquiao's previous fights, saying De La hoya was weight drained and Hatton was past his prime. Cotto would've have beat pac two years ago EASILY but now i'm not so sure. his confidence is kind of shaky later in fights and what i'm very disappointed in is cottos lack of speed when training! When u watch is coach do the mits with him its crazy how SLOW they are doing them! Pacquiao's speed is unbelievable and Manny will definitely beat Cotto's body punches. It cannot be solved. Manny and Freddie is forcing Cotto to devise new tactics which team Pacquiao also expects. I agree. I watch Pacquiao train and Im not impressed. He has great athleticism, power, and speed but his skill is not impressive for a guy that is so hyped. I believe that the fight could go either way, but I also think that the fight could go either way. I don't think that Pacquiao fans understand how good Cotto is. Cotto's biggest issue will be to survive the first few rounds.
