The 70's and 80's were the peak of all the great decades before!

growing up in the 70's was a much easier time, no cell phone, no bs. Yeah we were kids and the music was great from soft rock, pop to real rock and roll. My kids dont know what they missed.
I was quite young in the 70's(born in 68) but the music has stayed with me throught the years and there is nothing that can compare to it. My kids listen to it as well and my 13 year old dughter knows most of the songs fro then as well. cheers everyone

I was soo in love with my husband at the time this song came out, but I was too blind and naive to understand that abuse was Wrong. Another stepped into my life at that time , I could not help myself, he loved me as I thought it should be....my husband only drank and kicked me around. Ive been trying to find Michael McElyea ever since. He made me realize that love is a beautiful thing, not filled with abuse. This was in Escondido, Ca. in late 70s.

Omg! My heart is breaking! The love of my life had their lover call me tonight to tell me it's over. I couldn't believe it so I asked to speak to them and they got on the phone and confirmed that we were over and that they had fallen in love with someone else. I'm so hurt and feel so lost!!!! How can anyone be so heartless???

growing up in the 70's was a much easier time, no cell phone, no bs. Yeah we were kids and the music was great from soft rock, pop to real rock and roll. My kids dont know what they missed.

I was quite young in the 70's(born in 68) but the music has stayed with me throught the years and there is nothing that can compare to it. My kids listen to it as well and my 13 year old dughter knows most of the songs fro then as well. cheers everyone

I was soo in love with my husband at the time this song came out, but I was too blind and naive to understand that abuse was Wrong. Another stepped into my life at that time , I could not help myself, he loved me as I thought it should be....my husband only drank and kicked me around. Ive been trying to find Michael McElyea ever since. He made me realize that love is a beautiful thing, not filled with abuse. This was in Escondido, Ca. in late 70s.

i just loved this song when i was a little girl in the seventies! i wanted to be in love before i really knew what it was all about, but songs like this made me dream about it made me look forward to it and now i believe in it...thanks so much for posting this song i still hear it on the radio here in L.A. sometimes and a lot of this these others songs on the list here .Thank god for youtube and people like you who love this music like i do.
