  • Did you get my earlier message? I've had a glich. Anyway, yes, it looks like a toy, but all my presses really work well. I make a 6, 9 and 12 inch wide press, all handmade and like works of art in themselves. Prices are 750, 1500 and 3000 dollars. Glad you like the looks of it. M, by the way, opted for the 6" so she could fly it home and get started. - B

  • They look great, i agree they look like works of art.

I visited the website an downloded the pdf file where you show the Gootee process, i like the pic where you are holding the lil 6 mini, on page 12,

i have one more question, actually many but i dont want to anoiy you with to many question, hehe but...

  • i like to know how does the diameter of the top roll afect the press, does a 4&1/2 inch roll make it easy-er to turn the weel when a press is not geard, rather than a smaller diameter roll?

sorry to ask to many questions but i'm very enthusiastic about this art form, and also the design & building of presses, i'm in NC

  • RE: diameter. It's leverage calculation time, CalculoDiferencial25, so it's really the length of the spokes on the wheel driving the roller. The mini has 8" spokes on about a 3/8 shaft, where it then drives a 1 1/2 roller. Tom did my calculations, and he's an engineer. Not me.

  • The litle thing looks like a childs toy, but it's im-press-ed me! how the print came out perfect, it look great, i'm very intersted in maybe geting one, how much are this lil mini's?
