Although there is a bugle call for retreat, the actual sounding of the retreat is not about that. The sounding of the retreat is a time, usually the 2nd Weekend in July when the band and bugles of the light division get together and perform for current and past members of the division as well as members of the public.

I got the chance to see this castle in 2006 and its incdredible (since it was commenced in 1016).
