Honestly, if I had become pregnant as a result of my rape, it only would have stood to give voice to what happened to me and would have aided me in bringing the "father" and rapist to justice. I would not allow myself to be victimized twice. And adoption is a beautiful thing.

It shares organs with the mother,, the placenta is an organ itself, which helps the fetus get nutrients, also, they way blood circulates thru the fetus, makes it impossible to say that it has it's own cardiovascular system, (although a beating heart) lungs are not developed thus not used for gas exchange on the fetus. And yes it is the woman's choice if she decides to keep the fetus inside her body or not.

But, I have never heard of any effort by ANY pro-life group trying to enact legislation that requires this. When I have asked these groups about this approach, they become very uncomfortable and revert back to a discussion where blame falls solely on the female. I know a female that has had 3 abortions like they were nothing, like they are birth control. It was inbetween her first and second child. She now has three. There was also a freshman girl who got preg from her boyfriend, a good friend of mine.. Parents convinced her to abort it, only for her to get pregnant as a junior and keep it. After seeing this.. @rubyr1998 there are other ways around it than to have an abortion, your not the first young girl to have got pregnant at this age, i am one of them, and i got judged alot but i held my head high as i was brave to be a mummy at such a young age, i stayed in school , graduated and have been a great mummy to him and i am now a qualified cosmetologist and a breastfeeding Councillor, it never the end of the world as i said email me if you need someone to talk to.

@rubyr1998 There are always other options then just abortion. It's not the only answer. Aboption could be an option, or you can keep it. From conception, you are carrying a human being, whether they are a little less developed, they are no less a human being than you. Abortion is just like giving birth to it, then cutting its head off after birth because you don't like it. If you actually have seen a procedure been done, the child is ripped apart and murdered. Taken away all rights of it's life

Sex inside of marriage was a social trademark of the ancient, primitive jewish tribes of the mediterranean, used to give women value as objects for their fathers to sell. If they had sex before marriage, they were worthless, so it was just easier to say "god says this is wrong" and watch them all tremble in their chastity belts.

Before HUGE advances in modern medicine, the average life span of human beings was DRASTICALLY shorter, and people would (naturally) reproduce earlier. Also, the reason teenagers are out of control horny is because it's the natural time in their life to begin to reproduce, and the most healthy time for a woman to conceive as it's easier for the body to recover. Religious teaching on sex is a corruption of nature.
