  • Yes, except one thing, when tempretaru is above 150 degres, it starts falling apart.

  • aaand QUE "Arrow in the knee" comments

  • Dear Santa....

  • shoot the face...

  • Feudal Japanese had similar armor made of paper that would stop arrows!!!

  • but there's a hole in the chest under the right breast...

  • @MPSecare yeah... in the fabric covering the dragon skin

  • this thing blocked a freaken grenade that was taped on the armor

  • skyrim sux! Dragon Quest FTW!!!!!!!!! xDDDD

  • i used to say arrow to the knee jokes, then i took a vagina to the dick

  • @are2dude Skyrim is everywhere

  • How the fuck did the skyrim "jokes" get here?

  • how about 50.cal explosive rounds?

  • that's why its called body armor NOT head armor. . .

  • But will it blend?

  • its actually filled with nokia phones

  • Wish every faggot who spams every video with "HURRDUURRRR I TOOK AN ARROW TO THE KNEE"

    should die.

They don't know that the guards say "I used to be an adventurer like you, then i took an arrow IN the knee." Not arrow TO the knee. Stupid assfags.

  • they didnt say how heavy it was???

  • Daedric armor > Faget skin

  • that looks pretty impressive but what happens if the guy gets shot in the head?

  • @Budzy231 The guy obviously dies, genius. But in combat you rarely aim for the head because its such a small target.

  • soo...why is this not being used?...

  • @cb7pwn because of the cost of it

  • I want this armor but i dont have enough smithing skill yet....

  • we dont NEED armor, we just need to illegalize guns worldwide, kill those who still posess them, and only allow ourselves to carry katanas or knives. it is more appropriate

  • Ah, but will it blend?

  • dragon skin vs howitzer...hmm :)

  • @GTACIP

    I love ketchup!

  • but...will it blend?

  • Why does everyone make a big deal out of the 7.62x39?

  • @Nationofhonor nope and i think they didnt use a caliber like 50. because it would go right through . amarican propaganda bull shit, this wont help them at all in any wars :/

  • Now try firing a tank shell at it :-D

  • you need 2 dragon scales + 3 dragon bones to forge this armor

  • @camelhound1 yeah and 10,000 gil

  • The point of ballistic vests is to minimize the threat of a round penetrating into important organs.

  • I dont have enough blacksmith skill to create dragon armor yet...

  • They forgot to mention it protects against grenades in the description....

  • hmm?

  • they should combine this armor with liquid nanotech if it's possible

  • they stole this idea from runescape

  • @soap155 What age are you? -.-

  • FUS! RO! DAH!!!

  • um ...well and what about headshot ? =P

  • @DanielTejnicky then you're fucked.

  • @DanielTejnicky Answer: dragon-skin burqa!

  • BUT can it resist an arrow to the knee?

  • Comment removed

  • we should just use this (british, americans) we will be completely unstopable, just like the terminator really?

  • @SkillCodZ lol not really u get fragged or shot in the legg or head this wont help you.

  • @robertkrosl Yeah True!

  • US soldiers don't have these because the Kevlar lobbyists say no. Even though we'd be unstoppable death machines.

  • @drewfusmaximus2 I thought the reason we don't have these is because they're too expensive compared to proven kevlar.

  • @drewfusmaximus2 unless the enemy decides to go full automatic on them (which they do) and the rounds will not only hit the body but head, legs etc.

  • @drewfusmaximus2

The actual reason is because the adheasive in the armor can't hold up in high temp. (aka the desert) so it won't last long where we are fighting now, but say we go to war with North Korea or China then this armor would prove very usefull.

  • Elder Scrolls Skyrim True Again.

  • @JanisevDenvil I have to agree with that. I dont know why, but I guess its an ego thing. We like to flex our muscles sometimes lol.

  • @SkedarX9 I know!!! I want to see it take a .50 cal round too!! Lol

  • This is basically modern lamellar armor Soldiers, Y U .WEAR DEES. :|

  • will it take .338 Lapua lol

  • hey-hey-hey,what about spec piercing ammo 7,62 calib? yep,we have such a thing...and lot more )))

  • statistics show that 99/100 troops not sent to battle remain alive

  • Dear Santa....

  • goes through steel,

    doesnt go through ceramic

    seems legit

  • It does look a lot like dragon skin. Some of the best inventions come from copying nature.

  • @stretch654 but dragons arn't real

  • @SHOTGUN1302 Oh yeah, I forgot :). OK, well how about some modern day lizards - some have skin with overlapping scales.

  • Looks heavy.... But still: "Dear santa. For christmas..."

Next I want Mythbusters to test this west on a larger scale. Let's say... 7.62 Armor Piercing.

Finally I wouldn't want to be on the recieving end when all that kinetic energy impacts. Ouchie!....

  • I wonder if the dummy moving back a little effected the impact, even giving the bullet another few mm to slow down can severely reduce the impact dmg

  • is their atv built in?

  • So wait... These people have only just then discovered this? I mean there was scale armour back when crossbows came into play so how the hell did the people just overlook it when making bullet proof armour?

  • akA JUGGERNAUT`?

  • Can it stop Thu'um?

  • FAKE. Dragon skin is a Breton power.

  • @MrDjaype I used to have dragon skin, but then I took an arrow to the knee.

  • is that possible if the bullet hit the same direction of the dragon skin it will pass through your body?

  • will it stop arrows to the knee?

  • @IAmWorseThanYou no thumbs up, you fail

  • @IAmWorseThanYou good one!!! Nice Skyrim reference

  • @IAmWorseThanYou Yes but it wont stop people from over using meme's like you

  • @IAmWorseThanYou how original fucking attention whore

  • @MrDip02 calm down

  • @The1andOnlyCG until all the little clueless faggots shut there mouth

  • @IAmWorseThanYou Faggot.

  • for god's sake just fucking make a nanosuit already

  • How bout a good ol .50 cal? :D

  • @Cam4cha The best place to find peace is on the other side of war. "Speak softly and carry a big stick". The US is the most fearsome military force on this planet. True story.

  • big whoop body armor thats used by US forces isnt usually dragon skin and costs less and has the same armor capabilities. The only real advantage of this armor is that it's easier to maneuver

  • @verzama actually it doesnt have the same capabilities the current armor is luck enough to stop a 5.56 nato round which the us currently uses.... so yeah definitely not get your facts straight

  • @mantywrestling My facts are straight. my brother is in the marines and uses the interceptor plate which can take a 5 round burst from an ak-47. why would our soldiers use an armor that has saved countless lives yet according to you can't stop a 7.62 round? (which is used in most weapons by insurgents)

  • @verzama Don't you mean the Small Arms Protective Insert plate? The Interceptor, if I'm correct, has been largely replaced by the Modular Tactical Vest in the USMC though the SAPI is still used.

  • Comment removed

  • i have to get one in black

  • i have to get one

  • The point of DragonSkin isn't the way it can stop a wide variety of bullets. It's the way in which it stops is and disperses the energy. I like Future Weapons but thsi was a little disappointing :P

  • i dont get US,it is only country i see that advertises its wepons and vehicles and tells how it is made....obviously some 1 else can copy it and make even better.

  • @JanisevDenvil they tell the BASIC materials of a particular construction, but the actual process to engineer a product is a closely guarded secret.

  • i guess the armour piercing rounds aren't so armour piercing anymore

  • With dragon skin troops come back with medals, not body bags

  • Try a .50 cal and I'll be impressed.

  • BUT can it blend?

  • i got here because i googled 'is juggernaut armor realistic or practical'

  • Lol, its not like people are gonna use ak47 when the time comes that troops wear the armor. I think that there will be way more powerfull weaponry than ak47 once this comes to use :D

  • Future weapons

    Ak47

    Lmao

  • reptilian style body armor? u alien fucks

  • S&W 500 magnum+ .44 magnum + Desert Eagle AE=fuck your armor you'll be dead 100%

  • try the 50 calibre sniper rifle !

  • Just send the missiles that go 5 times the speed of sound.

  • Now fire a .50 BMG at it.

  • Mithril is still better

  • ah 240p we meet again.

  • Hit that shit with a tank nigga!!!

  • what if he got hit with full auto fire

  • @someguy1448 why stop there?

what if he got hit with a rpg

what if he got hit with napalm

what if he got hit with a machete

what if he got hit with magic missile

  • How does it do against a rifle round, such as a 30 cal, or fifty cal, armor piercing?

  • Thats not a m16 thats a m4a1

  • @comebackiller It's an M4 Carbine with a collapsible stock and an EOTech holographic laser sight. Not M4A1.

  • ONLY IN AMERICA!!!

  • isnt that copied from ancient korean armor?

  • Seems heavy though. Sacrifice mobility for bullet stoppage?

  • I have an idea, use the 50BMG round hehe

  • what if you made a full body armor made of dragon skin?

  • But will it blend?

  • overlapping discs... sounds like... fish.... NATURE, Y U MORE ADVANCED THAN US?

  • What will it do against a Barrett at range?

  • @Lambomurcielago670 Not shit. Body armor isn't designed to stop anti-materiel rounds.

  • What will it do against a Barrett at range?

  • There's a flaw in dragon skin... When you sweat your body excretes salt. Dragon skin collapses with salt and water.

  • this is the best body armor out there. the damn government wont even release videos of them testing this against the standard body armor because theyre scared of the truth getting out. this body armor protects the vital organs of the body, while the standard one does not.

  • if taliban got there hands on this :O

  • @iKILLIANO yea we would be pretty fucked. Too bad there poor as shit

  • You all have to remember everything they show on TV like this this are a couple years old. If the US would be stupid enough to show the latest military technology on national television, then god help us all.

  • Crysis 2?

  • Someone pointed out that the price might be the reason behind the "banning" of this gadget. I'm inclined to believe so.

  • I can't see the rationale behind the description of "Life Threatening". Perhaps that is the Doublespeak term for "Prohibitively Expensive".

  • In war our troops deserve the best weapons, best training, best skills, best tactics, and best protection from them to come home safe not in body bags.

  • @SilentEagles Easy to just not send them to war

  • @SilentEagles amen to that

  • @SilentEagles Then why do most militaries still use only Kevlar? BB guns can penetrate Kevlar.

  • Comment removed

  • @SilentEagles and where is all that money coming from?

  • @SilentEagles The best way of not having your troops come home in body bags is not sending them out into war. True story.

  • @Cam4cha The best way of not having psycho fanatics flying highjacked planes into American buildings and city's is to stop them in there tracks on there turf--TRUE STORY!!!! every single solider that has died/given his or her life over the last 10 years has done so in an effort to stop it from happing again to America (including piece's of Shit like You!!) News flash so far it has worked!!! So stop being so GODDAMN UNGRATEFUL!!!!!!! Where the FUCK do people like you come from anyway?!?!

  • @rolade20...................

  • @rolade20 Hell

  • so its a coincidence we invaded Iraq when they started selling oil for non us currency or contracted the vice presidents former company for the war effort. You are whats wrong with this country and r the reason the world hates us. Keep giving up ur rigts in this belief of "freedom" and world policing. You think we gave a shit when stalin killed more people than hitler ummm no. Our country is always in perpetual war and idiots like you believe everything your fed. your no better than a red coat

  • @rolade20 That's a lot of leaps in logic... =\

All he said was people who don't go to war tend not to die at war

  • @Cam4cha

    Well said.

  • @Cam4cha hi this is the real world ur awesome dream world is cool and all but sadly peace between everybody doesn't exist atm we can hope and try but at this moment in time the people making the war decisions won't listen.

  • @Cam4cha You're an idiot living in a dream world. True story.

  • @Cam4cha Hmmm... so what you 're saying is we shouldn't have a military. If someone threatens our country, lets just ignore them. If someone attacks our country, instead of acting and preventing it from happening again, lets just shrug it off and say "peace man!" Word for the wise, joining the military is a choice. The brave men and women who make that choice know that in times of war they will protect us.

  • @Cam4cha Oh wait, this is reality.

  • @SilentEagles Thank You SilentEagles!!!

  • @SilentEagles when you have less fatalities there is less reason to send out more, i dont see why this isnt already out on the field yet.

  • @SilentEagles unfortunately, the US gov't doesn't agree with you.

  • @jkims15

Fuck our government. They should mind their own business. They can't tell us what to do. This country is better off with less government control.

  • @SilentEagles and what about enemy soldiers? they are men they deserve it as well. I think that avoid wars is the best solution dont you think?

  • @Gotta270101

They don't deserve it because of their war crimes.

  • whats the song at 2:09

  • What a disappointment i clicked this video thinking it would be a real human testing the vest :(

  • If the "bugs" can be worked out (re: cold weather, etc.) it would be very useful!

Nice video, thanks for uploading it. :))

  • @anderasyoman Ever heard of being a Faggot?

  • Dragon skin is unreliable in cold weather the ceramic plates crack and fracture easily

  • @schmidtmc03 It also fails in heat, after being dropped, after exposure to solvents and diesel.... Due to it's construction it is also very difficult to inspect.

  • Bottom line its probable best used to protect against smaller caliber rounds and we have yet to discover anything for multiple 7.62x39 or 7.62x51.

  • @ViolentKisses87

Oh, you mean that exact calibre they just showed it deflecting?

Seeing as it's highly unlikely anyone's gonna be able to place two bullets in the exact same spot twice in a row and this still outperforms the hell out of current body armour (provided you're not in the artic), I'd say they're still ahead.

  • It would be a waste to give every soldier high tech gear. Special ops are the top and they have it for a reason, marine recon, navy seal, E.T.C

  • but isn't it better to have a real dragon instead of just the skin?

  • @KanyeTroll Not all of us are Dovahkiin see.

And even THEN it would be hard to control one of those bastards.

  • what about if we try 50. cal ?

  • @jollaomar69 well as much as i want to say lets do it, we have to remember who we will be fighting, then on top of that we also have to remember what guns and how stupid our enemies use and are.

  • NICE cant wait for the legendary armor in next expansion omg omg

  • just a big painful bruise

  • Yay, none of the bullets penetrated... but all of my ribs are broken.

  • Comment removed

  • think of someone wearing this full body, dragon gloves.boots, helmet, pants

    think of it

  • ooh! midevil armor covered in a CLOTH!

  • what that stop an armor piercing round or fmj round?
