Not just the music, I like the message in this song. I can relate to asking Jesus to be part of what goes on in our lives because without him, it just seems to be meaningless martial that depreciates, rusts, or disappears with the passage of time, or when we die.
I grew up listening to these guys. One thing I love about them and one thing that separates them from soo many bands today is that they were not afraid to actually mention the name of Jesus and God and His divine message to man THROUGHOUT their songs. They truly proudly proclaimed their belief and glorified God in a HEAVY way!! There was no doubt what and Who they were singing about --something you don't always find in Christian music today. Too much compromising and safe lyric approaching!
@ch3353n1nj4 They actually got more heavy than this. Have you heard the Against the Law album? It's insane! Also, some good tracks on "Reborn", and "Murder By Pride" has some super intense stuff, but also some slower worship stuff.
I remember growing up with this song. It was one of the best Stryper songs around. Hope to see them September while they're still rockin for Jesus!!!! ^.^
That image looks like a priest (because that's a Christian cross) holding a Bible on one side and the devils head (?) in the other. It's not an occultic cross the figure is wearing. What do you guys make out of it?
Praise be to Elohim, may his ultimate sacrifice bring others to his kingdom

This song and "The Way" are my two fav Stryper songs. Very strong jam and stronger message. Thank you, Stryper, for rocking the world with the Word.

this was one of their last aggressive and fast songs...
i lament that they don't make them this way anymore; all the tracks one their latest albums are all slow and not as exciting :(
