I do know one thing, I come from a long line of ranchers and farmers and have been to many rodeos in my area. They prohibit steer jerking, wild horse races, bronc riding, and more than anything jerk downs. Cheyenne would be different if they did it the way we did when the rodeo borrowed from locals, if any animals where hurt not only did they pay for the care and recovery of the animal but they paid three times the animals worth to its owner. If inhumane acts are found offended was fined/banned

I do know one thing, I come from a long line of ranchers and farmers and have been to many rodeos in my area. They prohibit steer jerking, wild horse races, bronc riding, and more than anything jerk downs. Cheyenne would be different if they did it the way we did when the rodeo borrowed from locals, if any animals where hurt not only did they pay for the care and recovery of the animal but they paid three times the animals worth to its owner. If inhumane acts are found offended was fined/banned

An animal missed on the farm is food of the table and unpayed bills. When pulling a calf to a branding Iron it is herded closer not chased most the time our horses never even break a walk roping a calf. If it tells you anthing we had a ranch hand who thought it was just like the rodeo way and broke our breeding bull's leg.$8000 loss

Im from the midwest and I've been to a few rodeos. I have never seen animal abuse there but i also have to admit that I usually only watch the bull riding to watch some idiot fall off. But after these videos Im disgusted by what these people are doin 2 these poor animals. I help my in laws with there horse rescue and see enough abuse as is. I'm sorry, I understand what he did was wrong. But there are animal activists who say stuff like this too. It's not our fault that there are people out there that speak like this. I have come across my fair share of animal activists were much less than polite.

well, yeah i rodeo, but there is a point where sport becomes abuse, but pro rodeo and high school rodeo, and many other associations that deal with rodeo have rules that disqualify people who mmistreat animals. And i bet that 95 percent of rodeos don't ever have any injuries or maltreatment issues, but what you do find is usually an accident, or someone being a genuine ass. I'm sorry but its ridiculous that people are so caught up on this, it's stupid

This person claiming "good food and watter" for the animals - yeah... before they are brutalized - And the attack on "man-ness" - It's obvious the only way these rodeo guys can manifest their power is through terrorizing animals. It's horrible - Their messages speak volumes about their ignorance and stupidity. Rodeos need to be made illegal. There is no need for this kind of "activity" foisted as "entertainment". It's inhumane - it's sinful...

i have a question? if we all go vegan....who is going to pay for and take care of all of the animals!!!!!!!i think that really needs to be thought over, and ive never had a vegan give me a worth while answer for that question. but hey i respect your right to be vegan. There are not words in the English language to express how vile rodeo people are. Just look at those pictures. That's enough for me. Big dumb assholes who victimize innocent animals. Get a brain and a real job and leave the animals to live in peace. I believe there's a special place in hell for people who abuse animals. We have to deal with this crap every summer at the Calgary Stampede, where cruelty is king. Our own city actually promotes it. Thank God for YouTube, who exposes the truth.
