8 hour minimum but it's best to listen to your body. If you keep waking up and you still feel tired and want to go back to sleep, then you need more sleep! If that happens to me, I try to sleep for 15 more minutes if i can. It's also best to go to bed at the same time everyday. Or at least around the same time! Americans do not value their rest! In Spain, the entire country shuts down for a couple of hours a day so people can take naps and rest. Sleep is important!

It tastes like prune to me (but I think Dr Pepper tastes like root beer, so I'm probably not the best judge). My grandma doesn't complain about her knees like she used to. I think it's good for you b/c it has antioxidant properties, but don't expect it to work miracles.
