Hey, fellow friends of Joe Romersa. This was Joe's band when I first met him. I was directing a dubbed series in a studio that no longer exists when in walks the engineer. Damned if it wasn't a Soy Cowboy!! Damned if we both didn't like Thai food and Thai women. Even luckier, I like fine music. I introduced Joe to Kevin Richardson and the world of anime gained an awesome talent. That makes me happy. And Joe introduced me to Thai string beans...yummy!! Well met, Brother Joe.
Wow. A blast from the past. Just the music arrangements used in here are enough to send you 15 years into the past. It's also VERY cool that the filming technique, the "head twitch", was used here(2:40).
Awesome song, dig the voice, dig the sound (I love spaghetti western music), dig the lyrics. The video reminds me of Pink Floyd's High Hopes video combined with Muse's Knights of Cydonia. Or it should be the other way around considering that Soy Cowboy came before those two songs.
I didn't get it at first, however as soon as I actually listened to the lyrics after three or four times of viewing, they're very meaningful. I wish I could actually find the album that has this, additionally! You're probably the best person who has actually awesomely for 'Paint it Black'
Well that was different! Good different. The feel of the whole thing fit perfectly, but you dont know the feeling of you have while you are watching it. The voice is hypnotizing, as usual from Joe, lyrics are meaningful. Song is all Killer and no Filler! Most excellent
at firts time i didnt know i was writing to you, now that i know i have to say something : Man You Are The Best, i mean i love ur stuff, specially ur songs in the Silent Hill`s OSTs.you have a really big fan here. i was kinda scared to know it was you who posted this :D didnt believe it at first time. but well just this : Im another one on Your List of #1 Fans. thx.
I saw the band in Santa Monica, CA decades ago after hearing them on NPR. I still have the their cassette. I love this music. Thanks!
