  • i love this. this is so informative, even if it was a year ago, also....it was soo adorable when you said bitch please

  • why are all youre vids about gays i dont have any thing aganst gays but lay off

  • Glad to be at college for Day of Silence. I transferred , so we'll have to see how my new school is but college is so much better for these things. Glad you're out here talking about things. Just subscribed to you. Keep going strong. I also support this and bring to light the attrocities of the gays during the Holocaust as well as what still happens.

  • we had a day of silence in our school. the club im in supports it. SAFE club. student alliance for equality and education. our school gsa. btw, i like your videos. =]

  • "For it was not god who created man, it was man who created god"

    Think about it.

  • see, i agree with him in some ways hahahaha

  • I did Day of Silence last year in 8th grade.

I was one of maybe 8 people.

It caused a lot of drama,

my teachers supported me, but my friend didn't. I didn't let it bother me though. And I heard about that kid having a pool party. I live in Arizona and it was on the news.

    I love the video :D

  • beer

  • No niggggggggga Meth!

  • I went to Mount Si this year, and witnessed the MLK assembly and the Day of Silence. I was a member of the GSA there too. I took class with the teacher McCormick who called Rev Hutch out as a hypocrite. I am so fucking glad I graduated from that school... but basically it was an interesting experience and I have it first hand if you want to talk about it.

  • ha i live in mesa az! and i was invited to that party! jk

i didnt know there was any lesbian gangs here...?

  • yes please! finally someone's got the right idea.

and way to play right into my hands. that was too easy

  • harlemking24 you'd better hold your breath, you're going to need it to blow up your inflatable date.

  • hmmm. and people who speak like you are a disease to the educated world. You should really go back to elementary school or at least see a speech therapist.

  • your hot :)

  • What "special" rights are you talking about?

  • vandendriessched i want to know what you are smoking? it must be good!

  • wow, Rev Kev is a dick head.

  • There is absolutely no reason for me to continue this anymore. I do not know why you hold a grudge over some anonymous person over the Internet, especially because of the fact that they are gay/bisexual or support both. Obviously, it is a disorder.

Nice try, but you're not wasting my time dealing with you. Take care. Your comments will be deleted off my channel and consider yourself blocked, my fellow imbecile.

    Peace,

    Neil.

  • Ok come on im bi i was just drunk. Jeeze people should be more open minded gushhh

  • leave this closed mind bastard alone, he mentioned the widly fucked thing cus hes the one that was widly fucked and he is afraid of admiting he liked it

  • omg you are like my hero*_*

  • i totally did the day of silence this year! it felt really good to be standing up for something =]

  • hahaha beeetch please

  • I participated in the Silent Protest when I was in High School a few years ago. And I experienced the same non-sense from the Invisible Man worshipers. Fact is, folks who do not understand gays or homosexuality, or are just concerned getting their name in the paper like Rev. Moron that you refer to, are going to act this way. Enjoyed your video. Oh, and you're unbelievably Cute, :-D

  • I participated in my schools Day of Silence although I'm straight and didn't face any problems at all. Apparently we weren't supposed to wear the buttons/shirts because it might "make us targets of bullying/abuse".What the Funk? We're going to stop mindless bigotry by wussing out?Hell No!I wore two buttons (although I put an atheist slogan on one because the original message sounded really dumb).I was also concerned about the DoT but nothing happened!I can't wait for the Atheist Out Day on Oct 2!

  • seriously though, i love this video. i participated this year.

  • "not anymore girl!" lmao

  • well i was a participating in day of silence and i loved doing it and u people who hated on us FUCK U! and ur great kepp doin videos!

  • You use your jesus as a weapon to hurt others very well. You must have had a lot of practice.

  • Don't let these people pull you down, Free Speech is the most important thing we have, I support the 911 truth movement, I want our constitution back.Gay men are the backbone of the 911 Truth movement in America

    Have a Great Weekend : - )

  • Thank You!!

I went, i even wore a sign across me saying.

Day of silence! I support gays!

    And i got beat up?

    Wtf. I dont get it...

  • what the hells that supposed to mean? i myself did it and a few other friends but there wasnt nearly as many participants this year than there where last year.

  • haha. i know a few kids doing the day of truth thing. i can't wait lol

  • You are awesome, as always. We are a gay couple in Orlando raising our 14 year old boy and worry about people filling his mind with hate. I can only hope he turns out half as intelligent and articulate as you.

  • i wish sombody would try to hand me a 'soul saving' card so i could be like

    BITCH PLEEAASE

    hah

    i love your hair

  • And Eric, you are an amazing person, keep up the work. You're a natural at it!

  • I think I peed myself with your "Name on their clothing" comment.

  • haha ur cute

  • Wow. Lesbian gang deaththreats.. How intense.

  • is it just my computer or is you tube comment thing really messed up an not puttin the comments in the right place??!! someone plz get back with me on this cause I have been havin real probs here, as of late. Oh btw THOR love your views on this issue, the rev. does seem a bit of a hipocrite huh.? how can u be such an idiot and also an idol to so many ppl at the same time? but I guess there is a lot of intolerance still out there and it comes in many many forms.

  • the preacher thing is crazy u r always good at bring things to peoples attention about stuff like this good job

  • i love you...<3

  • Your Amazing =] No one should have a problem with who someone loves thats just rlly wrong. To bad everyone could see that...

  • Eric, I love how you can address a serious subject and inject humor into it. Keep up what you're doing, and I'll keep on loving you.

  • Thanks so much for the comment =D

  • Thankyou, Eric Thor.

  • the turnout was actually pretty amazing <3

  • i did it it was greate like 80 out of 100 percent of kids participated it was a great turn out...

  • awesome, thanks for the comment =D

  • You live in such a troubled part of the world. If it wasn't in America, America would just bomb it. Freedom of speech is one thing but freedom to promote hate is another. Thank you Thor for remaining vigilant against the haters.

  • our school had the day of silence the other day. It's amazing how many people at our school participated in it, 8 or 9 people in some of my classes. What really pissed me off the was some poeple were wearing shirts saying "god made adam and eve, not adam and steve" hopefully next year even more people participate

  • Sounds awesome great job. Ya I bet those people would be annoying hah. =D

  • Good message and thanks for the links. Nothing like the oppressed becoming the oppressors. Underscores how insane prejudice is. Western Washington is a pretty progressive so this is getting quite a bit of local press and outrage.

  • Ya I was surprised when I herd about this I thought Washington was pretty chill with the whole starbucks thing and all.

  • I was not aware of the Day of Silence, but I think it was great that kids did that - silent, peaceful protest is the way to go! But I will never understand the facist/extremist rage & hatred exhibited at gay ppl by those who claim to believe in Christ. Obviously...."they know him not!!!":)) They are a horrible example to their kids, and make a mockery of their faith by their words & actions. Sad to say: I think this facist trend will only get worse...

  • Eventually homophobia will be so bad that people of the same sex will be incapable of even talking to one another.

    *Nod*

    It's the truth.

  • lol you're a trip dude. <3

    //Kevin

  • Gosh so many things to respond too haha.

  • Wow I'm glad I don't live in the US. In Canada you just don't see these kind of exchanges between liberal and conservative extremists

  • I always take pamphlets form people against homosexuality and I even say I think a few of my friends would like them. Why , you ask? Well thats several pamphlets they paid to print they can not give to someone else... Woot , I Rule!

  • Pretty devious hahah

  • skaterboiz: You are devious! You are sneeky! ...and yes you rule! Why didn't you take 10 - 20 - or maybe even 50! ; )

  • that "rev" is such a hypocrite...He has completely forgotten what racism and intolerance is...he just cares that he is accepted by the majority, and to hell with the remaining minority.

  • It so frustrating really some people just care for themselves. Idk whole pack mentality thing.

  • sorry about this who is the king kid I dont know him..

  • Oh,,and as you stand against homophobia don't forget Matthew Shepard who was beaten to death and hung on a barbed wire fence in Wyoming becuz he was gay. Sick,,sick, sick, sick!

  • Thor, I love you!

  • Homophobia is total ignorance, racist, predjudice and discusting. Some fok say that those who are homophobic are actually gay and trying to hide it. I say that homophobia is TAUGHT,,mainly by freako christians that are ultra conservative and are actually agents of ,,,,THE DEVIL! U know,,that dude with the long tail and horns!

  • Ya homophobia is taught if any of those people had gay parents they wouldn't be protesting.

  • I'm gay. I personally didn't participate (for a few reasons, primarily because it was my last day of school), but I did take the time to remember and wish the victims peace. I really have to agree with how stupid it was the way people reacted. I know it was to be expected, but it doesn't make it any less appalling, especially from the religious fundamentalists. Isn't one of the missions of being a Christian in particular to find brotherhood in all others through Christ?

  • Thanks for the comment =D Really some people are just homophobic and they are using religion to make themselves to feel less guilty.

  • Sad, aint it? Guilt is a power evil. Religious bosses have used guilt to control people since,,,,WO!~ Long time,,thousands of years. Bummer!

  • *hugs*

  • Haha you're so funny, I love your videos! ^_^

  • Thanks =D

  • My brother goes to Mt. Si

  • you are amazingggggg. love the shirt lol.

  • love you

  • i had school.

and i was silent, even though im not gay, but to end homohobia..

and i was sent to the office.

    so that sucked =[

  • sent to the office for being silent? contact a civil liberties attorney and threaten a suit. I did that when my school said they would not let me take my boyfriend (i am gay) to prom.

  • Thats ridiculous did you get in trouble though like detention if so I would complain.

  • well i went to the office and i told them that i was standing up for the rights of gays and they told me that i can do that out of school.. and that its not allowed during.

  • great video, thanks Thor

  • aww THOR I love you so...keep speakin the truth and you will go far...peace to all!!

  • I just have to say, I love your shirt! I agree with the message of your video. Pool parties? Bitch, please.

  • i totally did the day of silence, it was hot.

except for kids at my school did the "day of truth" which is basically them saying that god doesn't approve of gays. and they wore shirts with a guy and a girl on them. they were pretty douchey.

  • Ya I thought day of truth was suppose to be on Monday whatever they are pretty douchey. Thanks though =D

  • apparently no one at my school knew that, they were probably too stupid to google it.

  • Thx for telling them how it is!!! Go Thor!!!

  • "Lesbians turn me on =]" I lol'd xD hard ^^

  • brilliant. This is your best, wittiest, most well-thought-out video yet.

  • I couldn't agree more :3 It's deep and all but at the same time funny with all the bitch snaps =p Really witty 8D U go thor /o/

  • Haha thanks =D

  • People always will say such idiotic crap on this subject, but when you put up Lawrance Kings photo and realize what happened to that boy, just because he was gay, all the arguments fall silent. Rev Kev, do you really believe a boy should die because he is gay? thats what it really comes down too...nice video as usual..thanks so much!

  • I found out about your youtube a few days ago (looking @ Larry King participating news video bout DOS) but your hilarious may I add.

I participate in DOS and everything went good, just some kids having no respect for us wanting to remain silent & wanted us 2 talk- I will say I didn't face any problems with anti-gay remarks. thats one beneficial thing about going to a small school of roughly 1500-ish kids.

I made it through the whole school day but after when I did talk it hurt my throat XD

    <3

  • Nice haha =P thanks for the comment. Thanks for doing the DOS

  • his name is on his hat so he can remember his name

  • god, i'm glad im in college.

  • omg you are too funny. The bitch snaps, are the best!

  • Only for use in extreme situations. =P

  • I did well in school till 5th period where I had to give a project presentation hah hah so I brok my silence but in the end it was all good.

  • Haha sweet =P how you do on the project lol? =D

  • lol it went well, my teacher gave me a thumbs up and said that I did really good so I'm hoping I get an A! hah hah :D

  • i always think it is funny when african-americans are homophobic and and protest gay rights cuz its like, wow, you just had the exact same deal happen to you 50 years ago and now you are doing the exact same thing to other people?? wow, and doesn't your precious bible say that god love everyone and to treat others as you would like to be treated? so you are saying you wish that you would still like to be discriminated against and hated as in the 50's era???

    it truly confuses me :/

  • Also when they use the bible to support there homophobia they seem to forget that the same bible was used to support segregation and slavery.Ugh so frustrating

  • EXACTLY! people are just so hateful, its like, why would you spend so much of your time hating a group so much? for doing nothing but being who they are. it is one thing to dislike a particular group for actually doing something, like al qaeda because oh what they have done, but just hating a particular group because a book says you are supposed is just ignorant. I just don't understand why there is so much hate, like i sit back and think about how superfluous harbering that much hate is.

  • awesome video. I had to work, so not much silence...but still gotta love rev Kev!

  • good old Rev Kev =D

  • I grew up in Phoenix. Mesa is in the greater Phoenix area, by the way. I remember only one openly gay kid when I was in school. I'm surprised that he didn't commit suicide for the way he was treated.

  • Wow is it that bad?

  • welcome to the...well everywhere but the northeast and west coast.

  • Pretty much haha =D

  • i was so happy because one of my teachers totally supported the day of silence, like i participated, and she asked what it was for, and i wrote it down and she was totally in support of me doing it, i almost cried because in such a homophobic school it was amazing to see that there are still good people out there...

  • Thats so awesome. I'm so with you unexpected kindness always gets me teary. Thanks for participating.

  • HAHAHAHA, some lesbian gang in mesa arizona XD

  • This year was my first day of silence and I didnt talk the whole day. Despite my covservative city, most of my friends supported me and even people who I didnt know. It suprised me how many people will stand by you if you put yourself out there. I got a couple of haters too, saying why should I support "fags". But I just stared at them and smiled. So in the end I won. I would have to say that this has been one of the most meaninful days of my life. Thank you Larry, where ever you are.

  • Thats so sweet. I really appreciate what you did. Thank you so much. Really your such an amazing person for being humbler and such. Thank you so much for standing up. =D I want to give you a hug or something thank you =D

  • As a Quaker (of the liberal persuasion) I quite like the silence.

Silence in the midst of noise is very er noisy? Noticeable?

  • YEAAAAHHHH BIATCH VERY FIRST VIEW!!!! lmao i had a bit of a different way of doing the day of silence... i skipped half of my classes and talked non stop to people in gibberish XD twas awesome

  • Sounds like you had some fun haha.

  • I knew about all of this - was at work, but remained silent when I could. It was pretty fantastic showing people the card why I was remaining silent :]

  • Thats nice haha =D. Haha its a good feeling I bet wish I had school =(. How many cards you send out?
