  • I use a simpler mess-free breakfast:

    3/4 cup semi-ground oats

    1/2 tbs cinnamon (optional for flavor)

    1/2 tbs peanut butter

    3/4 cup boiled water - mix all well

    finally - slice 1frozen banana

    Voila, Delicious!

  • Good meal but it's much better to eat it post-workout. The energy you expend in your workout will be largely dependent on what you have eaten in the previous 24 hours than what you eat an hour before. Muscle glycogen resynthesis is greatest in the 1-2 hours following a hard workout. If you must have something before the workout, make it something that doesn't require heavy digestion as this takes away needed blood from working muscles and into the stomach to process the food.
