I am completely passionate about watches and watchmaking. I don't personally know anybody in the industry, which makes things difficult, since I am 15. But I get by repairing and restoring timepieces from kids at school and using all the money to buy more tools and such. I hope to go to the NS School of Horology in a couple years. I just hope that in the future, mechanical timepieces never die. I have much faith in that though.
This summer i am going to Gem City College and taking watch making and repair and then after that i'm taking jewelry. just wondering is there a high demand in this field and also can a person make good money on it. i want to do this because it interests me and i love doing it.
you might make more money in jewellery business, if you open up a jewellery shop. but to work as a jeweller, you will have enough to survive. but as a boss, you will make decent money.
watch repair, as a worker you will make more than enough to survive, but not as decent as a jewellery business owner. but as a boss of watches, i have not experienced / seen that path yet.
SUCKS! Encoding frame rate sucks!

this video is sweet! I am taking a class on Beethoven right now and love the tune you chose, although I didn't immediately recognize it.

I feel like I'm about to turn into Sylar, but at the same time, I'm strangely hypnotized by this film and can't... seem... to... look... away...
Very well done.

im taking a watch course in the summer and im very nervous, ne tips?
Evaseven 2 years ago
Don't be nervous otherwise you get shaky hands. ;-)
Just listen very close to your instructor and follow his instructions and everything should be ok.
TheCityBug 2 years ago 2
well, the instructor im learning from is Frank Poye, have you heard of him?

That is a Lemania, or a copy thereof, is it not? I've seen that Y bridge often enough, mostly on chinese replicas with crystal casebacks.

Made in China... Sea-Gull "venus" lemania replica... a decent movement. Definitely one of the more robust asian creations.
