Can you send text messages to people who have CDMA phones with an unlocked LG Lollipop? I've heard that you can't do that with the Lollipop 2 even if it's unlocked. It'll only send messages to GSM phones. So if that's true, then maybe I'll get the first Lollipop phone instead...

I live in the US and I have this phone :) not the LG Dlite, but the actual LG Lollipop one. You have to buy it unlocked or else it wont work. I got it on Amazon with warranty so that's the best way to get it. Oh yea, and it only works with T-mobile or AT&T. I got T-mobile

@KyoFluff ...the unlocked version can be used in any country and since it's international, it comes in many languages. The locked version only works in Korea because of the network.

@maya95rlo ...No, you don't have to go there to get it unlocked because if you buy it unlocked, all you have to do is buy a SIM card from either company. You will have the prepaid service (obviously you pick the service you want) but it's pretty much ready to use. If you want it, I recommend you buy it from Amazon but make sure it has warranty and it says International and unlocked.

@TeddyPowaXD ..Hi, um I'm thinking "no" lol. When I say that this phone is international, it's because you can use it anywhere in the world. Like if you were to go to South America for example, you would just need to get a SIM card from a phone company there and you'll be able to use it. They're made to use with any SIM card. They should sell these phones everywhere but you have to make sure that when you buy it, it doesn't come with a monthly plan from a certain mobile company.

@dakiut Your phone should show the name of the person calling in the front. It should be setted up that way when you get it. If not you can look through the booklet.
