You did not blow a fuse. The vita mix turns off when ingred. are to heavy'or thick. Rest it for 15 min. or so and it is good to go.

You did NOT break the VitaMix. It can NOT be broken. You overheated it and it has a safety feature that shuts itself off. You DO need some lessons on how to use this appliance, however!
