@PikSokolit Yes, I do know about him. And at first, I was hooked on his message and decided he should be the one that I voted for. UNTIL he stated that he saw nothing wrong with Iran having nukes. (What?!) Iran has stated that if they had nukes (which they are working on), they would use them to destroy Israel and then come after the U.S. A president's first priority is to the safety & security of the U.S. Maybe Congress could talk some sense into Paul (if he won the seat)

@ranger192 We are not secure until we get our finances in order. We can't help Israel if we're broke and the another bubble bursts. Don't worry, our CIA, and check today's news, will find us a way to go to war with Iran. He's not anti-Israel. He supported Israel bombing Iraq's nuke sites in 81. He believes, and with good reason, that they can take care of themselves. Our world-wide intervention has gotten us in infinite trouble and the Republic is at stake. Our collapse is imminent.

@NorEEzta I wasn't trying to say that Paul was anti-Israel. Just the fact that he knows (or should know) that Iran has threatened, not only Israel, but the U.S. and Paul can't see that if Iran does get the nukes he wants, he would carry through with that threat.
I don't want war with Iran or anyone else (I want all our troops home), but there has to be some way to stop them from getting the tools they need to try to destroy us. (Short of war)
And, NO, "our collapse is NOT imminent.

@ranger192 Any withdraw of support from Israel is deemed anti-semetic by opposition. Paul supporters are forever defending that. Look, Iran with a nuke is a problem. True. The IAEA and sanctions have failed. 0bama thought he'd try diplomacy and he failed to get it going. The surrounding countries (at least 3) get more of our money than they do. Before 1973, people donated to Israel. It just doesn't need to be our foreign policy. Israel will attack Iran pre-emptively before we get involved.

Iran with nukes is more than "a problem" - they don't just want them to "balance the scales" (like most countries), they have an agenda - to commit genocide against Israel, then come after the U.S. An actual threat - which they intend to carry out - their own words. (Not idle threats) And, what does that have to do with us giving anyone money? Yes, Israel can defend herself quite well. So can we. But we shouldn't have to. Obama's cowardice hurt us.
