What a "Good Boy"! Cooper is GREAT. Smart little guy. And a bit nuts-O in the back yard there. I hear you laughing in the background. He's so funny. Lots of fun time to come.
@dmacken11 A GREAT joy for us, that little guy! I would bet Buster and Koopa (one of many nicknames) would have some fun time together, just like their pack leaders : ) Thanks Dave!
OOOh My Goodness! What a little sweet heart! He is just so adorable. And in his little backpack, he looked like a little bowling ball bag with big brown eyes and furry ears.. : o)
You shameless use of cuddly cuteness in this video totally works for me.. : ) Hugs, Sara
@saradreaming LOL! Very thoughtful comment Sara, thanks! He's quite the little charmer alright. He's melted everyone in our house with his puppy eyes!
Good stuff. I have the Ruffwear Singletrack pack for my trail buddy and it has worked very well and is holding up to his abuse nicely. They make great dog gear.
@ColoradoCamper Good to know, thanks! It'll be a while before we can really trail test it all. From just playing with it so far, it does seem well designed and tough.
Right on... Cooper is better trained than I am! ;-0
Seriously Bill, what a great little buddy you have there! Seems to have a winning personality and super smart! Looks like he's all geared up and ready to hit the trail before long :-)
@intenseangler Noticed our DIY saddle bags? No thread injections, the grommets saved me from the bobbins. That doesn't mean I can't spin a hot bobbin - LOL! Looking forward to seeing my favorite trails through his eyes and nose...
@wawhiker True :o) Tim may have an idea there. Maybe a small sled just big enough to hold your day pack :o) Now that would make an easy day hike eh?...hehe! For you anyway :o)
Cooper is going to have a blast in the back country! Looks like he has all the essential gear. Super cool!
Just a quick tip for all dog lovers out there who are going to use a doggie backpack; the harnest straps that go underneath the dogs front legs (around the arm pit area and chest) can rub and cause chafing when the pack is loaded. Check periodically to make sure the straps are riding well and that the load is balanced correctly. Might require multiple adjustments throughout the day.
@CrazyTaileZ Very good tips Matt - thanks! Sounds like you know your backpacking dogs. Do you have a trail buddy? Hoping Cooper and me log many smiles together : )
Great pup! Great vid! Ruff stuff is really great also! I guess you see where i'm going with this...Great! Our new guy, Roscoe, says to tell Cooper hi.
You're right on with that one. Other hikers can't keep their hands off him when they cross paths with him on the trail - he loves everyone!
