The only disappointment is the fact that she didn't kick the man off the stage and hog the entire aria with the high B
That being said, this is probably the best I've heard both musically (Jessye Norman being my fav) and perfect interpretation of diction (La Callas... who else?) but this has to be one of the most amazing versions. It's stupid that's she's not being asked to sing at the Met (I can't stand Garanca).
this voice is hooked to its fundamental and is very well produced. Anyone speaking of breaks and technical irregularities does not know voices or singing. What you notice is a correct technique. She hooks, hooks, and re-hooks. Just upload, don't comment.
@Steinweg9 Condescending, much? If you notice a singer's technique, then it IS irregular. And she has breaks, not that they hurt her. I and others admire the way she uses the breaks in her singing, but to say they don't exist altogether is nothing but willful blindness.
Great singing. First time ever I hear SS. Prejudice probably.
As this recording has been made in Munich, she might take part, too, in the Haindling choir with "Bayern des samma mia". Would give her some extra boost and a new range of customers in the October region.
@olympicfreak678 Indeed! :o) And apparently to enthusiastic reviews, too. :oD I'm jealous of those who got to experience that live. Being on the wrong continent sure sucks sometimes. ;o)

Hallo Smorgy,
Great singing. First time ever I hear SS. Prejudice probably.
As this recording has been made in Munich, she might take part, too, in the Haindling choir with "Bayern des samma mia". Would give her some extra boost and a new range of customers in the October region.
Ha, ha, ha.
