Omg the risks that that guy takes just to deliver the box of chocolates to the lady! And when he gets there, what does he do? He just leaves the box by her bed and goes away! Omg most of the blokes that i know would have woken her up and given her one!

WOW....remember watching these as a kid in between watching the Avengers.I also remember Benny Hill doing a spoof dressed as the milk tray man beer belly and all.I think the pay off was the fat lady who used to be in his shows pulling him in to bed with chocolate all around her mouth!!

For those of us who grew up in the 70s - this is SO reminiscent of those innocent bygone days !!!! Life was so simple and sweet - I remember we all used to use that catchphrase "and all because the Lady loves xxxxxx(whatever)" ...

Possibly the coolest series of adverts EVER, and they were crazy and stupid to think that there's no place anymore for this type of over-the-top stunt-laden commercial. Devised to rival and spoof Bond in themselves, and look, Bond still going....

Loved these ads. Apparently Gary Myers (who was also in U.F.O. as the Submarine Captain) did all if not a lot of the stunts himself. He said he was young and mad at the time so why not. My faves are the 'Shark Hunter' ad and one thats not here, the one where he races down a mountain with an avalanche behind him! He also looked like a cross between Action Man and Mattels Big Jim doll of the 1970s-would have made a great poster boy for Big Jim toys. Thanks for the upload! Loved these as a kid.

Yes, I like the smile at the end, just hidden. It is clever and funny: he never stays. There are lots of unanswered questions: what happens next? Where does he go? Did he risk leaving his number? How well does he know her anyway? Great fun!
