i dont understand anything about kendo, but this sriously amazes me...they are so still, in movement and mind, and then focussing all their power for one deadly blow

@cancerbero8 Yes... Moriji Mochida, was the last 10th dan. There has not been another since him. The 9th and 10th dans are lost.

@GokiGandalf As far as I know 9 Dan was achived by shinsa like 8 Dan today. 10 Dan was given to exceptional Kenshi for their skill and their efforts to promote Kendo.

@cancerbero8 Yea, but they were probably lost after world war two during the american occupation of japan. Many martial art secrets and masters were lost during that time period
