  • GUYS,

THROWING STONES AT MY WORLD VIEW DOES NOT PROVE YOUR BLIND FAITH CULT (ATHEISM) TRUE! You have to provide your OWN evidence INDEPENDENT OF EVERY OTHER RELIGION. I will get a video to post on this. Even if you proved EVERY theistic religion false, it would NOT PROVE ATHEISM TRUE! You cannot prove a negative. So, since you can't prove there is no God, you foppishly attempt to attack Christian theism false. I don't see you out refuting Hinduism as proof of atheism. Don't you see the pattern?

  • @ChristianVoice08 If I believe there is nothing supernatural as I haven't seen a convincing argument that supports it, and you come along with a story about the son of God, then who is it that should shoulder the burdon of proof? That's right, the guy with the tall tale. How should one disprove the existence of an invisible imaginary friend? That goes for all religions including the ones you plagiarised.

  • There is no God. Grow up.

  • @oBARFLYo

Where's your proof? Logic dictates that such a claim is impossible to prove. Are you a god? If not, then you can't know everything and be everywhere at once to prove your foolish claim. Don't worry, I won't insult you like alone who has no argument but hate. I do point out the fallacy in your claim though.

  • this was great

  • i am amazed at how stupid some people can be.

you do realise Stalin's actions were political and had nothing to do with him being an athiest

  • @GBAPCLAN

FALSE, he was an ACTING atheist. You are trying to separate the two. I guess that you apply the same separation in judging the Roman Catholic Church's involvement with mass murder in the inquisition from her claim to be a Christian religion.?. So, Catholicism had nothing to do with the inquisition, it was just a political thing (which is a fact as the killings were political in agenda)?

  • @ChristianVoice08 you are a a fucking retard.

Stalin's actions were political you dumbshit

  • @ChristianVoice08

Fuck you, you fucking child fucker... go read your damn bible, instead of sending stupid comments you dumbass.

  • @Imjustalone1

So, you hate the US Constitution and freedom of speech brought to you by the Bible and Christians who were willing to die to give you freedom. Gotta love the haters. And, WHO ARE YOU to tell me to disobey my God? If you don't like truth, just ignore it! But don't dare tell us to shut up. THAT IS FASCISM, you hater!

  • @ChristianVoice08

Yea, i'd rather be a facist, then be stuck in a fantasy world.

  • @Imjustalone1

That's the pot calling the microscope a liar! Prove you're not living in a fantasy world. Prove that there is no God and that therefore I am wrong about Jesus the Christ being God. Then, you can say that you are not living a fantasy. As it stands, we have evidence that Jesus is God. You have no evidence that there is no God.

  • @ChristianVoice08 Why is it that an atheist has to prove that there is no god and then know the answer to every question on earth. you were created by a magical pink dolphin, prove that you werent created by a magical pink dolphin and your birth isnt proof becuase the pink dolphin created your whole reality as your life is now and you are just living in a fantasy world, you just need to have faith of the pink dolphin or else when you die you will be eternally drowning

  • @dudemanthingpersonww

Why does the atheist have to prove his claim? HE DOES NOT HAVE TO PROVE HIS FALSE CLAIM IF he shuts up and quits claiming that Christians are wrong and cannot have their freedom! But, if an atheist is so stupid as to claim that ALL RELIGIONS ARE WRONG because there is no God, THEN IT'S PUT UP OR SHUT UP!!! I hate to get angry, but, I HATE HIPOCRISY as does any true Christian. We hate lies and God hates LIARS!

  • @dudemanthingpersonww

PS I also am sick & tired of that stupid & sophomoric fallacy of false comparison you used. Do all professing atheists read the same propaganda books of false arguments against Christian theism? I wish I could to provide free college level training or buy out one of those propaganda centers (state schools) and provide real liberals arts training! I can't stand how dumbed down the courses are now & how professors indoctrinate in stead of educate.

  • @ChristianVoice08 When you understand why you dismiss all other Gods you'll understand why I dismiss yours.

  • @oBARFLYo

Are you that unlearned or just impaired? We dismiss false gods due to lack of evidence, legendary origins or (most importantly in all cases) internal contradiction in the definition of their deity. Jesus the Christ neither presents any internal contradiction in theology nor any other dismissible origin. You have only embarrassed yourself. If you would like to present real evidence, I will hear it & answer it. Otherwise, don't reply.

  • Comment removed

  • @oBARFLYo

Irrelevant claims! YOU HAVE NO EVIDENCE THAT THERE IS NO GOD! You don't get to dismiss our evidence out of hand. IF ALL OF IT WAS FALSE, it does NOT DISPROVE GOD!

But, do you have evidence (comtemporary historical account) disagreeing with Genesis? If not, Aristotle says it stands.

Facts not in evidence. Ages are constructs not present or proven from early documents

Yes, there were dinosaurs on the ark. They're even discussed in the Bible.

    Where's your evidence against God?

  • @ChristianVoice08 There were dinosaurs on the Ark? I can't believe you're serious. Apart from the fact that defies all the scientific evidence known to man, can you tell me how they all fitted on a boat 450 feet long. Argentinosaurus was 150ft long and weighed 100 tons. Did they build the boat around it and it's companion, and all other dinosaurs of a similar size. You sir are a fucking tit.

  • @oBARFLYo

I can't believe you claim science while rejecting it in that same post! There are dinosaurs on the earth EVEN NOW! And for all the idiots out there that don't know biology like me, YOU DO NOT TRANSPORT ADULTS!!! Fools. When you are working with transports, you carry babies or juveniles, subadults ONLY IF YOU HAVE TO. You don't know a thing about what you are talking aoubt. AND IT DOES NOT DISPROVE GOD! You're the doltard calling the professor a fool!

  • @ChristianVoice08 All the idiots that don't know biology like you? I think what you meant to say was "for all the intelligent people weighed down with facts, evidence and reason". I see you suffer from the common Christian trait of using capital letters, exclamation marks and insults in the hope that it adds some brevity to anything you say. You're going to have to start towing the party line and claim God had a hand in evolution like a lot of the slightly smarter Christians out there.

  • @oBARFLYo

NO, I meant what I sdaid. Were you a biology major at a major university? Mine was ranked 3rd in America in Marine Biology. I passed on American University that claimed a 2nd place ranking. Did you major in biology? If not, shut up. You haven't my education to say I am wrong or put words in my mouth. If not, you insolence is pathetically arrogant and ignorant.

  • Comment removed

  • @oBARFLYo

I thought so. You have no degree and no training in biology BUT you want to try and act big and debate with the big boys. NO DICE. Stop with the ad hominems and go get an education before you lecture a field biologist about problems with anjmal transport. Secondly, we are NOT impressed by your stupid attempt to debate nonissues to avoid the FACT that you have NO evidence that there is no God. I have nothing more to say to you except go get an education and evidence.

  • @ChristianVoice08 Oh dear. Back come the words spelled out in capitals like a 10 year old having a rant on Facebook. Never before has someone written so much and yet said so little. You said you have a degree in biology from a University rated 3rd in America. I've told you that the universities that are 1st and 2nd don't support your opinions. I hate to keep smacking you down with facts but that's the position you've put yourself in. Which University did you go to?

  • @ChristianVoice08 There were dinosaurs on the arc? The long neck dinosaur was about 150 feet long, the titanic was 880 feet long. There wernt power tools back then so noah just cut down and made the trees into a huge boat large enough to fit TWO of every single animal and dinosaur. Even if all that somehow made any sense what did he feed the animals?

  • @dudemanthingpersonww

STRAWMAN. I will no longer explain animal husbandry to intentionally ignorant fops. Also, this has NOTHING TO DO with disproving God. You have no evidence that God does not exist. Quit throwing stones and GET A DEFENSIBLE WORLD VIEW! I can't help your stupid blind faith in the unknowable! Don't like it? Get a real world view!

  • And fuck the jews, too.

  • @ChrisrianVoice08 see that's the problem with you, you are passing judgments, and you think you are better then the average person, cause you believe in a 2000 year old book. Who are you to say whats a sin?

  • Religion: where logic goes to die

  • @dkthg

Prove it! Give a valid and true argument that proves that religion is ILLOGICAL! Time to put up or shut up. We tire of hearing childish emotional rants and denials in lieu of arguments. Please, number your premises & identify your conclusion.

  • @ChristianVoice08 Disprove it! Give a logical argument why YOUR god is true while all others are false. Note that i said LOGICAL so quotes from your "holy" book don't count as evidence.

  • @dkthg

LOSER, lol. You don't have an argument just blind faith. Nice try. Go troll someone who has no education. They might fall for your nonsense. I have no time for blind faith and people who can't prove their claims.

  • @ChristianVoice08 LOL! "Religion: where logic goes to die." Thanx for proving my point. We're done.

  • @ChristianVoice08 What is faith? The belief in something without documented evidence/proof of it's existence. Your faith is as blind as anyone else's. You don't know what's goign to happenw henyou die anymore than the rest of us. You are literally blinded by your faith to such a degree that no matter what anyone says to you, you'll still condemn all but yourself and those like you to Hell for not believing in your fictional Deity.

  • @ChristianVoice08 Just as soon as you put up anything of value to make religion seem logical. Oh, and the bible doesn't count, since, ya know, it wasn't actually written by your deity of choice, but the hands of men, whom are fallible, imperfect beings. Which reminds me..why would God let Men write and rewrite his written word? If his word is truth, then, certainly, only HE should be able to write it and pass it on to us worthless mortals since we so love to fuck things up?

  • I would agree this guy but...seriously? THe guys wearing a white-trash costume while smoking and drinking at the same time. Do I really NEED to say anything? His entire audience is smoking and drunk too. Jeez man. And lets get this straight all wars have been over several issues and religion is only ONE of them. Socio-political, economic, dynastic, strategic and diplomatic pressures START wars, religion, nationality, regionalism, and militarism are only the PRETEXTS, EVERYTIME!

  • @GermanConquistador08 Though it's important to remember that a devout follower can be swain into agreeing with a war he'd otherwise have disagreed with *if* his religious views coincide with the views of the war/warlord.

War isn't just a pin dropping - it takes *immense* follow-through. If people don't want to go to war - no matter how justified - it will simply not happen.

  • Nha we agnostics would have an easier time getting those religous warmongerers on our side XD

  • Atheist would so fucking destroy agnostics in a war! Bring it on pussies!

  • I just heard of this guy today on the Joe Rogan podcast but I just gained mad respect for him.

  • They don't. That's one of the most blatant lies of the atheist propaganda machine.

  • It's a joke calm down. That's the point he's trying to make you get all angry over jokes.

  • @ohplisken he's a fool

  • @mrtadreamer - of course...he is a comedian. Its comedy, people are laughing. Comedy comes in different styles: dry, slapstick, inflamatory, sarcastic, goofy, etc, etc, etc...if you REALLY want to debate your theism versus atheism, go on an actual atheist channel where they critically debate this stuff. If you are on a solid foundation, logical and think you have something of validity to share, then go where YOU will be taken seriously. Otherwise, you are wasting air.

  • @skeletonmom laughing, because they are fools

  • @mrtadreamer Thank goodness for us good, great and wonderful atheists.

  • @Junk007stockreturns i thank god i'm an atheist... PRAISE THE LORD! (lord of humanism and god of science of course (Carl Sagan or Michio Kaku? hmmmmm?

  • @skeletonmom calling a stand up comedian a liar and a fool? the lies are what get the laughs quite often, especially if they are filled with more truth than people are willing to openly face in public in general conversation... like TONY MONTANA says "I always tell the truth. Even when I lie."

people are in anticipation for enlightenment by exaggeration in funny illustrated ways that comedians do best - some don't get it and would rather take serious shots at his moral fiber

  • @glorp896 - I think you understood my reply. Just wanted to be clear: I called the comedian a fool not to demean him, but, rather to compare him with the likes of the court jester. The court jester was considered the fool, but he got away with telling truths and saying outrageous things because he made people laugh. And, he probably made people laugh because he did these things. If mrtadreamer is really serious about proving his point, he should debate on TheAtheistExperience.

  • @skeletonmom indeed, fair enough... the "THE MOTLEY FOOL (To Educate, Amuse and Enrich)" also have this historical understanding and respect for the court jester and as such have successfully named their financial brotherhood as such, trademarked even...

there are more than a few stand ups bashing religion - Carlin was the biggest... David Cross is another favorite of mine... so this is just as "appropriate" a place to debate the god thing, more fun in the FOOL sense for sure!

  • @glorp896 - Agreed!

  • do atheists have better moral than a religions person? no, and and example of that fact is the vile foul mouthed lying barabarian in this video.

  • @mrtadreamer-Then you should check out Doug Stanhope's video on Jesus...unless you are SO moral then you shouldnt be viewing this content at all...for shame!

  • @skeletonmom Does Doug Stanhope know Jesus?

  • @mrtadreamer - Sure does, Jesus does his landscaping for him! ;D

  • @skeletonmom i rest my case

  • @mrtadreamer - Thank God for YouTube Lawyers in the Blogging Court of Law.

  • they don't.

  • @mrtadreamer At someone here is willing to thank God for something.

  • @mrtadreamer - It's sarcasm, you dolt.

  • @skeletonmom he's a liar

  • @mrtadreamer liar? fool? thats the best stand up formula i can think of... but of course the bible is filled with what mark twain said was UPWARDS OF A 1000 LIES, and of course fools follow them

  • @glorp896 only an atheist would say something that stoopid, which was what twain was. pity.

  • @mrtadreamer Mark Twain had an I.Q. of 135-145. - so says some site...

he wasn't stupid, not by a long shot... in fact atheists have higher IQs than theists:

"His (Helmuth Nyborg) results, published in the scientific journal Intelligence demonstrated that on average, Atheists scored 1.95 IQ points higher than Agnostics, 3.82 points higher than Liberal persuasions, and 5.89 IQ points higher than Dogmatic persuasions. [4]

  • @glorp896 Apperantly "I.Q." offers no protection from stoopidity.

  • @mrtadreamer -Apparently, your IQ offers no protection from bad spelling.

  • @skeletonmom english is screwed up, spanish makes far more sense and is MUCH more consistent as to spelling and pronunciation, minus a hand full of diphthongs...

apperently to me apparently looks just as good if not better than the "correct" way to spell it... and does correct really need to Rs? or apparently two Ps? and those germans with two Ns at the end of some words? what the heck...

stoopid is a new one for me, but it works as it adds comedy to stupid and downgrades it

  • @mrtadreamer IQ must be devils work; those with more of it become demon possessed with the seemingly wise science trickery of satan himself? or its just our stupidity despite our IQ?

actually over half of scientists are atheists & the harder the science & more accomplished the scientist the higher the rate of atheism, as in THE NATIONAL ACADEMY OF SCIENCES, 2000+, which has been over 90% atheists for years; 93% by one survey years ago - its practically a rite of passage for NAS...

  • @glorp896 yeah, what a waste of all that intellect.

  • @mrtadreamer god prefers lower IQ faith ridden sheeple for his heavenly worship?

  • @mrtadreamer Among the sample of 137 countries, only 23 (17%) had more than 20% of atheists, which constituted “virtually all... higher IQ countries.” The authors reported a correlation of 0.60 between atheism rates and level of intelligence, which is “highly statistically significant.”[5] info for this and last post are from wiki article:

    "Religiosity and intelligence"

  • @mrtadreamer which one? let me guess, the one and only god? the one YOU worship

  • they don't

  • Hahaha Stanhope just gave his address out on the "Joe Rogan Experience"

  • This video is just more proof that atheists are the most dishonest sort of people there is. Is it any wonder atheist are considered the least trusted minority group in the U.S.

  • @BT3701 The guy's a comedian. He's making jokes, get over it. And no it's not a surprize that Americans hate a group that they do not understand. No surprize they hate the group that puts the education of the children ahead of their indoctrination. No surprize they hate the group that peacefully debates rather than terrorizes. Of course you don't trust us. You don't know us.

  • @18booma Since you're replying to an ex-atheist, your assumption that I don't trust atheists because as you say I don't know them is entirely false. Nice try though.

  • @BT3701 Then why do you think it is that atheists are the most hated and the most distrusted minority?

  • @18booma Because in my personal experience they are generally angry, hateful, and dishonest

  • @BT3701 But that's a terrible generalization. I'm an atheist, but I'm not angry, hateful or exceptionally dishonest. Were you angry, hateful and dishonest when you were an atheist? You should also remember that you can meet someone, they can be amazingly kind and respectful, but if the subject never comes up,you will never know if they are an atheist or not.

  • @18booma I didn't mean that all atheists are that way, however the majority of atheists I have encountered are generally hateful, intolerant, angry, and dishonest, which matches the survey done about atheists that was conducted by the University of Minnesota

  • @BT3701 That survey only showed how atheists are perceived by other Americans. As for the atheists you encounter I would say this: If you encounter a rude atheist like George Carlin for example, he usually expresses his atheism very strongly. But when you encounter a gentle atheist like Helen Mirren, you would have no idea that she doesn't believe in God. I can only suggest that in the future you somehow distinguish between rude athiests and the rest of us. Anyway was fun chatting to you.

  • @18booma

I promise you that if I ever personally meet an atheist that isn't rude, I'll be the first one to let you know. To date I haven't as yet met one. It has always been my desire to meet an atheist that isn't either intolerant, angry, or hateful. But so far no luck. As far as Helen Mirren is concerned, were you aware that she still believes in fairies and leprechauns.

  • @BT3701 Yes I am. She's still an atheist though. If you're ever in Australia or South Africa let me know. Then maybe I can fulfill your desire.

  • @BT3701 Rumors are thick and thin that there are more than a few passive agressive, rabble rousing, born again bible thumpers that make glib, unfounded statements out there.

  • @spadger131 Rumor dictionary definition - A currently circulating story or report of uncertain or doubtful truth.

  • @BTKstrangler Interesting how you cite this survey stating that atheists are the most distrusted and hated minority in USA. Apparently, Arabs are a close 2nd.

Does this mean that Arabs with a world wide population of 300 million plus are ALL wicked and evil? And based on this, then are Christians still bloodthirsty crusaders and KKK members?

It's always a tad disturbing when surveys and popular opinion get emotionally misconstrued as "fact", don't you find.....?

  • @spadger131 Since the following atheists gave orders to have over 100,000,000 people executed in the 20th century, doesn't that make atheism bloodthirsty hate mongers - Mao Zedong (atheist) Lenin (atheist) Stalin (atheist), Pol Pot (atheist). Since atheists always prefer to sweep that portion of history under the rug, then I must assume that atheists are either being dishonest or are ignorant of historical facts.

  • @BT3701 None of those had shit to do with religion jackass, now the Crusades....that was ALL about religion. Heres a historical fact for you....Jesus is myth.

  • @ShadyRaider Rather than remain ignorant, do your homework - from wikipedia - "Stalin followed the position adopted by Lenin that religion was an opiate that needed to be removed - his government promoted atheism through special atheistic education in schools, massive amounts of anti-religious propaganda - and also a terror campaign against religious believers. By the late 1930s it had become dangerous to be publicly associated with religion"

  • @ShadyRaider Do your homework - rather than remain in your ignorance or dishonesty go read the full article titled - Persecution of Christian's in the Soviet Union, on wikipedia about how many people were ordered to be killed by atheists in power like Lenin, and Stalin, and their bloody war against religion because of their intolerance and hatred of God. Their body count was about 70 million innocent peasants.

  • @BTKstangler The enormous body count under stalin's bloody rule has never been truly ascertained due to the highly secret nature of the regime. And his murderous bent encompassed all aspects of people, most of it coming under the dubious charge of "enemy of the State", religious or otherwise. In order to maintain his grip on power and enforce terrror, Staling "created" untold "enemies", Christians being one of them.

Do you know what Totalitarianism is. And what is your opinion of hitler?

  • @BT3701 I don't blame religion for war, it's just an enabler. atheism doesn't magically get rid of things like war because people are still human. I don't think those men killed people in the name of atheism. Look up cult of personality, it seems to apply to most of your examples. They thought they were Gods, for all intents and purposes.

  • @deejayalemus Like many others your understanding has been tainted, probably by some history revisionist with an agenda to sweep historical facts under the carpet. I suggest you do some homework and go to wikipedia and search for the article titled "Persecution of Christian's in the Soviet Union. It's a bit lengthy, but necessary if you want to learn the real facts.

  • @BT3701 Like many others you posses an uncanny ability to set aside the facts that do not suit your message. I am not denying the horrors of Stalin's regime. It's certainly a lesson from history. He was a demagogue who followed a blind ideology, and was not guided by reason. I don't know too many atheists who advocate hardcore Marxist ideology in the first world, do you? Give me a call when Julia Gillard starts executing her fellow countrymen en masse.

  • @deejayalemus I didn't set aside facts. I provided you with my source for the facts which I have been referring to. Those facts are all referenced by historical documents, but you first need to take the time to read the facts contained in the article I suggested for your view pleasure. If you choose to ignore it, you can't say I set the facts aside. At most all you can say is that you have chosen to ignore those facts.

  • @BTKstrangler If you look carefully, you may find that stalin, mao, lenin and pol pot also all drank milk. Their crimes were abhorrent, but were borne from a supposed ideological bent and obsession with power. I do not recall them drinking the blood of Christians, but merely used them as another imaginary "enemy." Also, they were individuals and not an entity like religious movements.

And why are you avoiding my question re Muslims being the 2nd most reviled minority in USA? Are they "bad?"

  • @BT3701 As you didn't acknowledge a single one of my points, it's clear to me this dialogue is one sided, so this will be my last effort. I assure you've I've read ample amounts of history and am approaching the subject from a much broader perspective than you are. You're focusing on persecution of Christians to the exclusion of the wider scope of people he killed for political purposes, ethnic cleansing, collectivization, economic policy, etc. You aren't educating me, you're monologuing.

  • 107 people believe in a pacebo religion.

  • Comment removed

  • Where are the people complaining about all the wars started by economics? I guess money is a harder target than religion.

  • @jwdeming Your so right.

  • @FitnessMythBusters no they didn't kill 100 million, christ if they did hitler wouldnt get all the tv shows made about him

  • Ahhhh....people smoking, drinking, hanging out...

    Where was shit shot?

  • Stalin and mau were atheists and they killed over 100 million people. but lets attack religion shall we? If you want to get into a counting game you miss the point. Man will kill to keep/gain power and better himself. It is human nature and has been going long before this type of discussion. You see man does not like people different than himself. So he will kill, torture or put into slavery those different. I has nothing to do with religion, that is just another bullshit excuse

  • @gooneybird999 True.

  • People would fight over equally trivial things if there were no religion

  • Just in case you were wondering.....George W. Bush is not a Christian.....not even remotely.

  • Hey you, yeah you youtube commentator.

I came here for Doug Stanhope's opinion, not Blade234's opinion, XxChemicaldeathxX's opinion or any of this stupid arguing that is basically a variation on traditional scrawlings on public bathrooms.

Shut up, get a beer, and comment, dont give your opinion

Also, this is my opinion, so it doesnt matter, so if you have a problem with it, get over it

  • @OneAndForAll

    Truly beautiful.

  • @OneAndForAll And I didn't come here for yours. You shouldn't have made it. And I shouldn't have made this one.

  • @aegisfate117 My comment was made to stop any further opinions and flame wars and so prevent comment disabling. So it has use and I am glad I made it.

Your comment however, is being another person who makes a comment just to give yourself the illusion that what you say matters, which it doesnt.

  • @OneAndForAll That's why I don't even scroll down 95% of the time when I watch shit.

  • @OneAndForAll Aren't you cute! If you don't like arguing, then don't fucking read it. Simple. Stop whining like a bitch.

  • @moopism you think whining about somebody whining about people arguing about bullshit doesn't make you look like a bitch, think again

  • @farneyblakeley I can own up to being a bitch, how about you?

  • Comment removed

  • World war 1 & 2, american iraqi war, nato libian war, iraqi kuwaiti war were not religios stupid american you are mind washed by your laier media propoganda religion is good and athiasm is saitanic

  • @q8mash so is spelling, apparently

  • i think he is a perfect example of how atheists do not have better morals than theists. he is full of hate, profanity, drinking, smoking and complete ignorance when he says atheists have not attacked theists for being theists.

  • @lubu160 Hate? hes just pointing out that 90% of wars are caused in the name of religion. Hes not saying "lets hate theists". What the fuck does drinking and smoking have to do with morals? I think your religion is bullshit, but i don't hate you, its just my opinion.

  • @MrKingatheist people start war and hate against people different to themselves all the time and claiming that it is all religion is moronic. obviously some would be because of religion because god is the most important thing in their lives and that is a major difference between people. however if you honestly think that people would not of had these wars otherwise then you are mistaken. even in this day and age society has told us to hate certain people.

  • @lubu160 I don't think there would never have been any wars if religion had never existed. I do however feel that there would be less wars if religion had never existed. For the sake of the peaceful theists, i am a secularist, i don't think politics and religion should mix, thus i will protect peoples rights to belief, but i will fight anyone who forces their beliefs on others.

  • @MrKingatheist i think religion has stopped as many wars as it has started. it would however prevent war within europe (or reduce war) in fear of excommunication. therefore instead of fighting each other they attacked outside of christian nations and so to have few is any further consequences to their actions. even today as an english person we are taught by society that we should hate - pakistan, germany, france, think america is fat and stupid. and most people that do have never been there.

  • I identify with Doug Stanhope somewhat, agree with some of his idealogies. I also agree with some of what Denis Leary, Hicks, and Carlin. However, people have to realize it's for comedic purposes. They put the idea out there, then dress it up for comedy. Don't take them literally word for word.

  • it's hard to say what "causes" human actions, especially in larger events like wars. are those rebels fighting "because" of their religious beliefs, or "because" they are politically oppressed or economically strangled, or mistreated in some other way?

  • @sheepblitzer Simple answer, Crusades, spanish inquisition, wars fought mainly over religious beliefs, but what yous aid about mistreated or politcally oppresses is right. These groups fight over who gets to politically oppress or economically strangle the other group.

  • @b33p3rz good examples. but even in the crusades there were those in power who benefited politically and economically by controlling the middle east, and by having their people rallied behind a war. in the spanish inquisition as well, those at the top of society were consolidating control by executing anyone who questioned the status quo, dissidents. in both cases it's hard to say that the only "cause" was their religious beliefs, or that they were even "religious" people.

  • he's not even joking, its the truth.

we laugh about it , but its not even damn funny anymore .

    :)

    well a little.

  • People in the audience smoking their lungs out like its the last thing they have to do in life, fuck cigarrette smoking, why don't you hand yourself instead and give all the money you would spend in cigarrettes and healthcare when you have lung cancer or ephisema.

  • NERD FIGHT!!!!! LOOK BELOW FOR A LAUGH!!

  • PS: learn to fucking COUNT.

  • Islam is the most prolific killer in human history with 270 million and counting. Communism is second at around 250 million. National Socialism, 20 million. Christianity 17 million.

  • @KenMacMillan oh my ... you're so damn wrong... christianity has killed alot more than that. 809 million people have died in religious wars. like you said islam has killed 270 million! and only 209 million by communism. anyway christianity has killed alot more than islan my friend. sorry (btw 809-270 =539 million) so yeah 539 million count to christianity. you guys are doing a greaaaat job... nice work.

  • @RaitoDenki Where did you get your numbers?

  • @KenMacMillan where did you get urs?

  • @RaitoDenki Google.

  • @KenMacMillan well I didnt get them from google.

  • @KenMacMillan the 809 million i got from books. the other numbers are your own. used mathematics and prestooooo

  • @KenMacMillan see what you did wrong? you googled and didnt know shit. thats what you did wrong.

  • @KenMacMillan Put it this way. You can count all the murdering atheist/Communist dictaors on your hand (Mao, Pol Pot, Stalin, Kim Il Sung and a few others). If you want to count all the religious-theorcratic murderers, you'd have to go back thousdands of years (but also include today). There were also fewer people then, so atheists/Communists come no where near murdering as many people if you look at that. PS Nazis persecuted all atheists by putting them in camps with the jews and others.

  • This argument has some merit, but most wars aren't started by religious zealots, but by a high demand for natural resources coupled by with psychopathic xenophobia. Religion motivates the retards to die for their god/country, that claim has plenty of facts to back it up. A great book on the cause of wars is authored by General Carl von Clausewitz, it's titled 'on war'.

  • Begin with the premise that all human beings are essentially assholes. And then the only argument you have to figure out is whether and why these assholes at least try to be decent human beings some of the time. Once you remove the notion that one side or the other is superior in some way, you get a lot closer to the truth. All human beings are assholes, whether they believe in God or not. Some human beings try to be decent for their own reasons. No group is inherently better or worse.

  • @kevnar Well without the reason "God wills it" you don't have any real excuse to commit the attrocities that you otherwise would. And you recognize it is meaningless killing, and there is no supernatural being that will reward you for it, or punish you if you don't.

  • @KingAdonisDNA Atheists commit atrocities too. And they just do it for their own reasons, without fear of any repercussions of any kind. That's just as scary.

I'm not saying religious people are better. I just think it's ironic how "holier than thou" atheists can be, as if their shit don't stink because they have no "unseen power" guiding their actions. All human beings are assholes. Trouble is, when a believer acts like an asshole, everybody blames God, instead of blaming the individual.

  • @kevnar I agree that individuals are to blame, and that is why theist and atheists alike are responsible for their actions, atheists (mostly) recognize this and face the consequences, theists often try to avoid them by using their god as a universal lying tool.

  • @KingAdonisDNA We might be able to say that a literally interpretation of Genesis is obviously wrong, but without the ability to prove that something invisible does not actually exist, the best anyone can ever say is "Who the fuck knows?" But this is where the assholeishness comes in. Human beings on both sides of the debate can never admit that maybe they might be wrong. It's not even about whether or not this invisible God exists. It's always about how stupid the other team supposedly is.

  • @kevnar I think you'll find that most neurologists agree that there is no reason to believe in any god, and the only reason we do is a bi-product of our psychological functions, see most people will invent imaginary agencies to help them explain things they don't understund, and this is how religions developed. Obviously I can't disprove an infalsifiable hypothesis, but there is as much reason to believe in magical elves as there is for any god, so I don't, I lack that belief, I'm an atheist.

  • @KingAdonisDNA There are two kinds of believers. There are the superstitious kind, who just blindly follow the things grandma Betty told them when they were kids, and rub rabbits feet, and believe that "fags will burn in hell" and nonsense like that. And then there are the kind of believers who have actually thought it through. They know that there is no proof of God. They know that superstitions are silly, and Santa claus isn't real. But they still choose faith because love inspires them.

  • @KingAdonisDNA I'm sort of in the middle. I'm agnostic. I've studied religion and science, history and everything else. The best answer I've ever come up with is "I don't really know." And it leaves me in a beautifully peaceful place where I don't ever have to attack anybody's beliefs because for all I know they could be correct. I listen when intelligent people speak, and I dismiss the things arrogant people say. Whatever helps each individual to be happy and find peace, let them have it.

  • @kevnar It would be stupid to think that someone who believes there is an omnipitent being who will send them to enternal bliss if they worship them, and to hell if they don't, is really happier. That would be called, "dillusion", "denial" and "fear". Not to mention the fact that realising this is the only time you have makes you want to do as much as you can, while you can. However it's not about what suits or comforts you more, it's about accepting reality for what is.

  • @kevnar I'm not saying I won't let people believe whatever the fuck they want, but I'll do my best to change their minds. Having faith is believing in something without proof or logical reason, and to me that's wrong, we need people to accept facts so that we'll do all we can with the world, and do what we can to make it a better place instead of just waiting for death to take us to an imaginary one.

  • @KingAdonisDNA Before you attempt to destroy anyone's faith, you have to actually prove that God really doesn't exist. That's unfortunately impossible. It's as impossible to disprove something that's imperceptible to human senses as it is for believers to offer up any sort of real proof that God does exist. At best, it will only ever be a matter of opinion. We have yet to verify the Higgs Boson exists, but we know that it's probably because matter has mass and gravity. We believe intelligently.

  • @kevnar I did say, "Obviously I can't disprove an infalsifiable hypothesis, but there is as much reason to believe in magical elves as there is for any god, so I don't, I lack that belief, I'm an atheist.", but that aside I wont believe anything is correct until I see proof or evidence, so I treat god like the toothfairy, obviously unreal. However I am an agnostic atheist, because like I said I need proof or evidence, and if someone could provide me with good evidence then I would believe them.
