Good idea. The way I've been doing it is after the wort chiller, I put a grain bag in my bottling bucket, and my grain bag has an elastic band on the top which I stretch over the mouth of the bucket. Then I dump the wort into the bucket, helping it also get aerated, then I pull out the grain bag which has all the trub in. Then I drain it into the carboy. So it creates an extra thing to clean, but it does a good job too. Just throwing out another option, though I'm going to try this next time

Yes TSA, if you do that, make sure you cover your pot well!! Make sure your lid is sanitized! Unfortunately, I can not employ this method, my pick up tube is right in the middle of my pot :(
