@johnpetermalcolm Yea, you are spot on, I joined in 1987 (REME TA) and did 10 years.I was spoilt by doing my class 2 in a Bedford TM 6-6 14 tonner and then a civi merc for my class 1. As a VM the oldest kit I worked on was a Scammel Crusader.The military vehicle bug is hard to shake off and during my involvement with the MVT I owned acouple of Bedford MJ trucks and a Foden FH70 Gun Limber.
20 gallons of petrol were used in the making of this clip.....maybe....What a great truck.....thanks for posting.

The "Knockers" were all gone by then; but me being an old fart, I took my class 2 in one of these.
