He won the 3rd title in Asian cup 1996 in which Iran was screwed up by the ref. against Saudi Arabia in the semi final.

Also in the qualifying games for world cup 1998 iran became the 2nd in a group of 5 teams and that happened because Qatar was just playing for Saudi in the last game against Iran but even the 2nd out of 5 would now take us to the world cup.

Also we should all be grateful to him because of introducing so many good players to iranian football like Mahdavikia and ...
