@Tuiteyfruity88 there are other versions of the story that adapt it well, the 1995 version with Ted Danson. which does all four parts of the book and shows the satire from the book very well. and yes, he pees on the palace in this one too but seriously, you're only in lilliput for maybe 30 minutes
the labyrinth is the greatest movie ever. although it has the most simple solution to a very complex problem... how to remember the lines to the high school play.. or how to remember my English homework... i cant remember witch.. this move is not only entertaining but idiotic at the same time.. in a world of dinner for shumks and hot fuzz. this movie may not translate to the youth of today. but fuck it. i love it and, always will.
I'm 14, and I also loved the Labyrinth :) but you really should have mentioned how Jareth was falling in love with her. That's a pretty big part of the movie :P
a childs film?!??!?!? tht film scared the crap out of me whn i was little >____< tho to be fair, a lot of child films did x.x young children have it so easy these days. kid films arent hardly as terrifying as they used to be :/
this review of the labyrinth kind of upset me .. you totally forgot how jareth is falling in love with sarah ... thats the whole point of the movie .. its a love story .. not really about finding her brother ...
idk maybe i saw it in a totally different way .
but this has been my favorite movie since i was 5 years old ... 10/10
@CosmicAngel16. im also 14 and compleatly agree with you. david bowie is my hero and i love him very mutch. therefor i love this film. let the 80s live forever. thumbs up if you agree
it was guitar hero not rock band and im only 15 ind i know more about labyrinth then you like how dave only sang 2 time not doring the hole movie and gullavers travle had the best sound track ever
Arthur: A fun movie about a man who has a real love but also the love of money. With the comedy on certain parts it really tells us that money cannot buy love. 11/10.
I thought Gulliver's Travels was terrbile(the movie). The book was written in the 1700's, he goes to different islands in 4 parts. He didn't get tricked he was a ship doctor. And where the movie came up with a giant robot, I have no idea.
@MatheusBond You have to watch Inglorioud Basterds. Probably the best written dialogue ever written for a film, in my opinion. and dont think i wasnt pissed when Hurt Locker got best original screenplay
I happen to be one of the new generation who's supposed to be watching the lame Nickelodeon and Disney movies... and I still love Labyrinth to pieces. Har har.
Saving Private Ryan, I have to say, could not closer to the grim times that was the war. It is the most realistic portrayal of the terror felt by the soldiers and needs to be seen in order to remember exactly what we as a species went through for our freedom today.
I loved Labrinth when I was a kid. Great movie. My Top Ten movies of all time: 1. Rocky 2. Terminator 2: Judgement Day 3. Alien 4. As Good As It Gets 5. Finding Nemo 6. Hot Rod 7. House of Flying Daggers 8. Ip Man 9. Dodgeball 10. Monty Pyhton and the Holy Grail
Saving Private Ryan is an amazingly true representation of the era, stunning visual effects and talented actors who can portray the characters feeling accordingly, just what you'ed expect from Spielberg and Hanks. A all time classic war movie 10/10
the peeing on the building fire was actually a part of jonathon swift's novel. What most movies tend to leave out is the 3 other places that Gulliver goes to on his travels, which then drive him to insanity.
@LOLballz55 Why did 4 out of the 5 movies on that list come out in the last few years? It seems like you added the BTTF Trilogy, just to make Jon like you, as it is completely out of place on that list.
I'm 12, but I love Labyrinth! I honestly wish they made movies more like it, with Labyrinth they spent time and effort to try to make a great movie, not like the movies now a days that are just slapped together to try to get the most profit.
saving private ryan is one my favorite movies its got a lot of action 10/10 My Top Ten Favorite Movies are(not in order just ten of my favorites) 1 S.W.A.T. 2 The Boondock Saints 1&2 3 The Breakfast Club 4 The Transporter 5 The Town 6 Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back 7 The Italian Job 8 Twister 9 Metal: A Headbangers Journey (It's a Documentary) 10 Chronicles of Riddick
Saving Private Ryan: 9, The acting is superb, Tom Hanks does and amazing job with the addition of the supporting cast.
Apocalypse Now: 9, A Vietnam masterpiece, a modern retelling of "The Heart of Darkness" and Martin Sheen does and amazing job, crazy visuals and art for the time period.
@TheLovablePsycho I'm a girl you douchebag. So how about you learn more words than "queer." And while you're at it, go look up the definition. Don't use words you don't know the meanings to. Oh, and by the way, I can like whatever movies I want, thanks.
about this commentary, the "pissing on the fire" part was included in an earlier movie of this story, i have not read this book but with this in mind is it outlandish to assume it was in the story? those who have read it please correct me if i'm wrong, however insults are not welcome
Saving Private Ryan: Crazy, sad, and the ending definitely caught me by surprise. Good story, good effects, a good film for persons that like the world war II films.
Gah if the king is who I think he is, he looks pretty good in my dictionary actually... But that baby brother of her's stops me from watching -.-... gross...

about this commentary, the "pissing on the fire" part was included in an earlier movie of this story, i have not read this book but with this in mind is it outlandish to assume it was in the story? those who have read it please correct me if i'm wrong, however insults are not welcome

Saving Private Ryan: Crazy, sad, and the ending definitely caught me by surprise. Good story, good effects, a good film for persons that like the world war II films.
9/10
