  • Fantastic Jazz Band and great song I love Royal Garden Blues!

  • Kenny really nailed Adrian Rollini's solo beautifully. No small feat!

  • This should be released commercially!

  • Very nice indeed! Very cleanly played. Kudos to the bass saxophonist. I have heard Dick Sudhalter on 'The New Paul Whiteman Orchestra' LP, where he channeled Bix rather convincingly.

  • I have played with Dick Suthalter in Munich (Germ)

in 1960. What a nice Human and Musician he was.

  • Date unknown, but some astute musicologist, Maybe Ray Smith, can tell from the age of these outstanding traditionalists. We would give a fortune to hear this spirited tune in stereo.

  • I'd say late 60s-early 70s judging by the film style, and the haircuts.

  • The trombone-player could win two contests: the "Miff-Mole-play-alike-contest and the Miff-Mole-look-alike-contest.

    Great video!

    Thank you!

  • Amazing video... Bob wilber with a Don Murray solo, and Kenny Davern sounding like Adrian Rollini... thanks for the memories

Ernesto Falzone from Buenos Aires, Argentina

  • Charming.What great memories...Pug & Bob Wilber

  • New York Jazz Repertory concert tributes to Bix: a young Warren Vache, Dick Sudhalter, Bob Wilber, Marty Grosz. Sharp-eyed viewers will pick out others. Circa 1975

  • De quand date cet enregistrement ?

  • Please research the date, serqech. Thanks so much.
